I think now is the appropriate starting point for avatar hats & Christmas music. I like the atmosphere even though I'm not a particularly spirited person and don't add to it.

I don't really get into it. Christmas vigil mass in Latin is always cool. My family wasn't really the gift-giving type so it's more about seeing family that I haven't seen in a while, but this year that isn't really even happening.

One thing that annoys me is when they show commercials about Christmas when Halloween hasn't even came yet. :<

This. Typically, it's the day after Halloween when they start playing Christmas commercials and music.
Christmas music is also the same eight songs, all remixed and redone by a hundred other people. Gets pretty meh.

Oh god, this. I'm just counting down the days till it's over. None of the students care anymore and all of the teachers are just burning through the make-up days they built into the curriculum. It's a waste of time.

This remake of "Santa Baby" best describes what Christmas really is in my opinion. I didn't gain an appreciation for how much parents spend until I got older and started to give good gifts as well...

I'm fairly indifferent about it. I like seeing people I don't get to see often, which also means I see people I dont want to see. The presents are nice and it's cool to give people something they may or may not like. I'll probably really get into it when I have a decent amount of disposable income and a family of my own.

As soon as finals are over after this week I become ultra christmas peppy and all. Love going to a fancy restraunt and church on Christmas Eve with the family. Also this year super excited since for Christmas I'm building a new pc.

This year will be kind cool as I'll spend in the cold Europe after 23 hollidays of brazilian summer, so I'll be in full christmas mode.

On December 1st I started listening to my collection of different covers of the same damn jingle and it NEVER GETS OLD. I hum along, I sing along, I just engorge myself on holiday cheer in the form of music.

On top of that I work graveyard shift, so one day I woke up and all the sudden there was a tree in my living room. I thought "Huh, isn't it a bit early to get a tree? Oh right, it's December 15th." I had slept through everyone decorating it. I'm not much for things like that anyhow.
Yesterday at work it was really slow, and I heard my manager mention something about the local university being on Christmas break. I thought "Man, so they get like three weeks of Christmas break or something? That must be nice after finals. Oh right, it's December 18th." This entire month took me by surprise.
