includes both afs seasons and div 1 before prem was introduced in season 8. used a variety of sources, and focused on main rosters. I did not include ringers used in the finals or players cut before the end of the season

Should that uk really look like, 2 for wales, 36 from england, then us and NI with 0?

I kept just uk because there are a few players I am unsure about.
28 players have been on the English national team
5 on the Welsh (mike, gink, sil, hugo, wai)
1 on both (shintaz)
4 on neither (doughy, matthes, randa, appz)

actually a little surprised no one from spain has ever won prem. now that i think about it, why are there so few spanish players in general? did tf2 just not catch on there like it did in other regions?
it's sunny outside in spain, not so much in england
i feel like u can always tell how shit a competitive game is by how many UK or NA players win tournaments

Spain actually had a fair amount of talent back in the pre-historic days around 2011 or so. Fairly sure a 50% Spanish team won an ESL season before they dropped TF2 (can't find any record of ESL seasons, only ESL Major Series which were various cup formats). ESL seasons were roughly equivalent in prestige to ETF2L at the time (sometimes more depending on specific seasons/whitelists). Pretty sure HarryHook, EstaniS, Pescanova won an ESL season when there was a partial ETF2L boycott happening simultaneously if I recall which made it the most prestigious thing to win online at that particular time. Same players went on to place 3rd in the next 2 ETF2L seasons after ESL died. Then others like Dorkan and Longas I don't think ever won anything but were on top teams. Could be mixing up some names and almost definitely forgetting some but there were some very good Spanish players back then when EU was exiting the era where Nordic teams won almost everything.
