Dear ETF2L community
I would like to ask everyone that before you read this, please understand that I do not wish to take part in this, however I am the one who listened to both sides. And after that, I do not feel that what happened was fair neither regarding the bans so far, and the bans that haven't been given yet.
Today I would like to introduce everyone favorite player Charlie https://etf2l.org/forum/user/149134/
Personally, I had no problems with him until he started getting people banned just because he received a 2 week ban.
For several months he seemed like a very kind and average person, but when he got banned for two weeks, everything changed. After that, he didn’t trust anyone except me (which I still don’t understand why to this day).
As it later turned out, he is a very malicious person, which was also proven by the fact that he got his former friend banned simply because that person has had enough of Charlie’s nonsense. After that, he reported this person for pedophilia.
Many people know about this, in reality the whole thing consists of three drawn pictures. It later turned out that it didn’t really bother him, since he had already seen similar content when he was younger (I also have audio files of this), and he mainly questioned the moral aspect of it. However, he reported it to the admins in a way that made it seem like it had emotionally traumatized him… which is not entirely true.
The person he had no interest in him, they were simply showing each other their drawings. Charlie showed me the entire conversation, where I could see that he himself also sent NSFW-themed images.
Charlie has reported countless people on etf2l for various reasons. How interesting that before his ban, none of these things bothered him at all.
Hopefully after this, no one will be surprised if they get banned from ETF2L. As far as I know, quite a lot of people have been reported by him.

I believe what he did was unfair, as many people trusted him. I did not write all of this to tarnish his name, but rather to clarify a few things.
As for my part, I would like to apologize to the many people I have hurt in the past. I was young at the time but i changed a lot since that.

Witch hunting a minor who got sent porn by a 20-something is not the bright idea you think it is. No matter how shitty of a person the minor is, or how desensitized to pornography they are, they are still a minor and it’s both illegal and immoral to engage with them in any manner that could reasonably be perceived as sexual. It’s not even a little hard to see how sending pornographic art crosses that line.
It’s also not complicated or asking too much of you to block a minor who tries to engage with you in a sexual manner. If you’re someone who thinks an adult should be let off the hook because “the minor started it.” You might need to seriously consider killing yourself.

This post has not been made with the purpose of witchhunting or harassing the victim in question; they are the victim in this situation, buko did send them inappropriate images that he definitely shouldnt have, what he did was stupid and deserves to be punished. However, the ban is way too severe for sending 3 NSFW drawings. I want to re-iterate: THIS POST HASNT BEEN MADE TO HARASS THE VICTIM. They did receive images from buko, and buko's reaction to finding out he had been reported by this person was incredibly out of line; However, the ban he had received is way too extreme, labeling him as a groomer or pedophile when he just isnt one is incredibly unfair. The other individuals that were banned permanently in the same ban wave buko was banned were: An admin that asked a 16 year old for sex; An admin that was caught having a relationship with a 17 year old, an admin that was later on protected by another admin (that also got banned), this person has been known for A YEAR+ for having this relationship and the fact that akio had access to the chatlogs between buko and charlie is worrying within of itself, meaning that this person had access to admin discussions for a LONG period of time AFTER being exposed for having a relationship with a minor, and being stripped of admin privileges; The following two i am not 100% sure of what happened, but what 1 person did was edate and erp with an 11 year old, and the other person assaulted a minor at a LAN. Im not saying that what buko did was 100% not in the wrong, he DEFINITELY deserves a suspension, but labeling him as a predator or pedophile when he simply is not, isnt fair. I apologise for wording this poorly, and causing confusion.
