Hello guys! Anyone having the old version of the stability config? I've updated mine recently and now my game is crashing (almost) everytime i join a server. Or when i accomplish to join my local server i get some of the props black. I wanted to test out the gfx config with dx91 and I really dunno what happened with my entire game after that.. If anyone had/have the same problem please let me know how i can fix it. Thanks!

p.p. Adding the configs to github would help many people to report issues and make the configs up-to-date in no time. So if you can consider adding it there. Thanks!

I had the same problem, I crashed when trying to join a server then I changed mat_picmip to 2 and it stopped crashing

mat_disable_fancy_blending turns off https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/$blendmodulatetexture

pellyx1 more question. Command "cl_ejectbrass 0" should prevent bullets coming out of the minigun, but it doesnt work for me for some reason. Is it be cause of sv_pure 1 or something?

cl_ejectbrass only affects modeled bullet cartridges that are ejected by weapons like the sniper rifle and the shotgun. The minigun bullet casings are a two dimensional particle effect, thus they aren't affected by this command.

Am I wrong in assuming the max/four cores config isn't as far down as it can go? I see a ton of frag vids with incredibly smudgy textures, whereas these ones are still kinda crisp.

But there's no actual fps gain? I overshoot 120 at all times during 6v6 but ayy paranoia.

That aside, what could cause the granary containers on mid to appear black? I've only really seen the issue on snakewater and granary, just. Stuff being black.

The config is writing successfully from my autoexec (I can turn gibs on/off and the changes will appear in the game) but whenever I boot up TF2 the texture settings + some other stuff default to High/Very High. My first guess was that Nvidia Control Panel graphic pre-sets were overriding the TF2 settings but that doesn't appear to be the case. Any other ideas why this might be happening?

have this problem too, and sometimes my whole screen gets covered in a fire effect when I'm bleeding even

also whenever I use the basher my viewmodels disappear, even if they're supposed to be on

edit: I get this problem on both the max stability + high quality configs

Why was mat_antialias changed to 1? Does it not improve FPS anymore, or is it to stop the screen from lagging out when changing? 'Cus the latter part is fixed by putting +mat_antialias 0 in launch options.

This is a slightly unrelated issue, but does anyone else's demos break when viewing them in mat_aaquality above 0 if they were recorded without AA? So I leave it out of the cinematic config. mat_antialias works fine, though.

My game also doesn't draw the fire overlay anymore. Any thoughts?
