lol ok. i saw shit talking in literally every single high school basketball game i played at every single level (freshman/JV/Varsity)

i even saw some serious shit talking at cross country meets that were not district/regional/state.

i thought the back-and-forth ingame barbs (lollerbears, squid's binds, lansky's "rofl", etc.) made LAN, especially the finals, more interesting. the gameplay itself was good but i think it enhanced the experience. it was also cool to see slin's over the shoulder video of harb who was in the heat of the moment, making comms and talking trash. sure, there is a line that should not be crossed which Plat already acknowledged and apologized for, but i thought it added excitement to the finals.

This has been one of the most exciting LAN's I've been at, and it's partially due to how hyped the players were this time.
A line was crosses once or twice, apologies were made and they weren't crossed again. No big deal

The only reason I brought this back up was because I wanted to draw attention to the fact that a BenQ rep was present at the event and we should start being more cautious at future LAN's.

I just want to comment and say that I find this whole thing hilarious. I used to spam binds and shit talk all the time and people hated it. It's a big reason my reputation is as shit as it has been.

I'd also like to apologize to anyone I may have ever shit talked.

I like how words like autism, rape, faggot and aids are accepted in this game, but someone says nigger everyone is outraged, because the tv dictates that saying nigger is bad ...
