#75 ash leaves froyotech in News
SheepylolIf everything ash said in his statement is true then i'm on his side. We all know how many egos are on froyotech and if he was getting the abuse he says he was then there is no reason for him to stay and put up with it. If there's a toxic environment then there is no reason why he should have to stay.

from his quote:

Ash However, on a few occasions, I got picked off while clockwork was sniping during our pushes onto last, causing tension in the Mumble. I didn’t want to deal with it, so I threatened to mute them, which caused even more arguments, and I decided to just mute myself and completely took my head out of the game.

After the loss, b4nny told me I was going to sit out the rest of the series due to my actions. I didn’t really want to play anymore and I didn’t like being disrespected like some sort of pawn, even as the newest (and arguably worst) player on the team.

you have a player who:

  1. threatened to mute the rest of the team (bad thing) - DURING A GAME
  2. actually muted himself (bad thing) - DURING A GAME
  3. threw the rest of the game (bad thing) - DURING THE PLAYOFFS
  4. then got worked up when he was told he was benched for the rest of the series...and felt like he as being punished despite the fact that he muted himself during a game and admitted to throwing the rest of the game.

no matter how "toxic" the mumble may have been, just saying fuck it, muting yourself and throwing is a super shitty way to handle literally anything.

...then again, if someone said before the playoffs "hey, pick an invite player who is going to mute himself and throw a game" Carter probably had to be pretty high up on that list, right?

serv0AtlasPwn3dserv0 Nah this team is a froyoslayer...
If serv0 wants to slay froyo/see them lose he should just try to play for them again. *cough* ;-) #froyoslayedfromtheinside

First off NEVER say my name again you 4000 hour pubber shithead. I wish RWS was a thing in tf2 so I can just call you a 4 RWS brain dead vegetable and call it a day. Sadly that's not a thing, by the way, leading up to the year while I didn't play more then 10 hrs of tf2, I was busting more nuts in your disgusting ogre of a mother then you've busted nuts in your hands. Why did I fuck that disgusting slob? Because I felt bad as your dad couldn't please her with his 2 inch microdick. Please refrain from posting ever again or at the least never say my name again because I cannot fathom losing anymore IQ points reading as dumb as a post as yours.

#8 Trailer: Beyond the Hats (TF2 Documentary) in TF2 General Discussion
sleeepyYou guys do realize that the 2 greatest esports of all time, SC:BW and CS 1.6, had absolutely no developer support.

while i agree with your general idea (that the reason TF2 is not a bigger esport is not b/c of a lack of dev support) - the games you list were released in November 1998 (Brood War) and January 2003 (CS 1.6)

the esports world has dramatically changed both since those games were released. also in Nov 1998, Ocarina of Time was released for N64; in 2003, KOTOR was released.

things are much different now than they were even when TF2 was originally released in 07

mowegg, once duwatna got going there was no stopping 4G. Although iM or mix^ would've made more of a game of it.

clockwork and b4nny were much better than Epsi's scouts, plus they didn't have anyone like blaze who was making huge plays all LAN.

bad troll is bad
