I just had a blast playing with some familiar names as well as a few not so familiar. It seemed like everyone was having fun, and I even got to teach some guy how to rocket jump. He said it was his first game of TF2 and seemed to be having a great time. That's an A+ in my book.

As much shit as it gets, I really enjoy foundry on pubs. I think that might be another good addition.

Actually I think having a map vote would be better too. That way you could have more maps on the server, gives things a bit more variety imo. Just make it where you can't nominate/vote for the same map again until 3 or 4 other maps have been played beforehand.

Granary, Foundry, and Steel are also maps I'd like to see on the server, and if custom maps don't force the server off quickplay, Snakewater would be good too.

No crits puts servers out of quickplay rotation. That's why most non-advertised or not well-known "comp" servers with like no damage spread and no crits are usually empty. BUT EVERYBODY KNOWS THIS BY NOW

Lets keep crits on for a while so that people will join and add it to their favorites or at least remember the name of it so they will join it if they see it in the server browser. In a couple weeks lets turn off crits/dmg spread/weapon spread.

I don't know why people would care too much about crits in a pub, it's a pub. To me it's not really a place to care about kill/death, your score, who's playing what class, etc. This server is really fun though, most people are dicking around with "fun" weapons, while very few onclassing trying their hearts out. Which is exactly what I hoped it to be!
