So glad they brought borneo back, that was a fun map

its only preseason, they should just replace swiftwater with borneo. They also REALLY need to fit in cp_steel

I get the feeling that Steel wasn't very popular in the higher divisions. Oh well though, it was a fun map while it lasted. Maybe it'll make a return, some day.

im pretty sure steel and gpit alternate seasons, which is why steel was in last season and not gpit, and now vise versa.

That makes a lot more sense, though I do wish Steel would become a staple map like Badwater or Upward.

They did the only logical map choice with swiftwater. Maybe people will stop being bitches now and will actually use summer season to test maps for seasons that actually matter.

Anyways, play your preseason match for a change, help borneo become a staple map, then we can get swiftwater out of the rotation until it's fixed up.

It'll be nice to see borneo get some real testing. It's come a long way and hopefully we can use this season to get it just right for actual play.

I think the the order of the maps could be a little better like maybe barnblitz and badwater could be switched, but maybe the admins are looking for upsets early on. Either way it's still the best map-list to date by far.

Defiantly what pudding said about the order of the maps. Most of the more difficult harder to learn maps seem to played more towards the start of the season and the easier, "you do this strat" maps later. Odd how they put gravelpit in there; but that isn't too much of a concern.

Other than that the map list looks pretty close to what is played in #tf2.mix.nahl on a daily basis.

I'd have to disagree with you guys. I totally hated Borneo, I thought it was an awful map. However I really enjoy Swiftwater and Lakeside. I also despise Gravelpit, especially in HL. I would replace Borneo with anything, but I'd like to see Warmfront make a comeback. Gravelpit should be replaced with another 5cp map. Maybe the version of Croissant that was the staple before Arnold started ruining it recently? Gravelpit should be replaced by another koth, I feel. Arctic? Just thinking out loud here.

Can someone elaborate upon swiftwater? I've played it and it wasn't a bad experience to me. Is it just because it is too large?
