This diagram (The nolan chart) definitely skews people towards the left libertarian side. A lot of the questions are pretty leading or just plain strange.
Also in general people are going to be skewed that way when your axes are literally both "freedom", particularly when one of your quadrants has Hitler as an example and another has Stalin and the bottom right quadrant is populated by people with anime avatars who write a short novella on their political views each week.
Try as hard as you can to finish up the part of your education you're currently on. I don't see much point in not finishing especially if you're close to the end and you aren't really studying.
If the next stage of your education doesn't appeal then maybe take a year out inbetween stages to do a job if that's possible. You might find that life outside really isn't enjoyable/there aren't many jobs with the quali you have and you might decide you want to go back and do that next step. If you straight up drop out you won't easily have the option to go back so imo this gives you the most options.
In the case of 0 stv delay, I don't think the casters' audio will be an issue but the stream was also being projected on a big screen, is this going to be in another room like i52, or the same large room like i55 because the latter could be visible from players' seats which might be an issue.
Brass beast could actually be a sick ambush weapon if u gave it a silent spinning sound like the tomislav. As an attribute would make way more sense on that weapon as opposed to the tomislav which is just better at direct combat anyway.
BrenEoNI assume there won't be cheatsheet for this LAN am I correct? If we're doing the same as DHS (99% sure we are) then yeah no cheat feed.
Hasn't cheat feed been used at the past 2 iseries though? Would love to see it used if possible, the camerawork at the last 2 events has been spectacular, capturing pretty much everything. I think iseries has historically had more/better pcs for production than dreamhack?
In any case extremely hyped to be attending.
I wish I could still believe these posts are satire but I've spent enough time reading shit like facebook comments on news articles that this doesn't surprise me at all.
Still pretty hilarious though.
Often if I've been playing a lot and I take like a week's break from fps games in general I find I come back pretty refreshed.
Alternatively if you have a team etc to commit to, try playing and just concentrating on gamesense, watching demos and stvs etc the entire week and don't stress if you miss shots, you'll probably find that your muscle memory comes back and most of the issue was in your head and you'll probably improve your play a lot in general as well.
tbh if it's overwatch but with quake engine and movement I'd play the shit out of that even if it wasn't an actual arena fps.
LuviIn fact if we look at them from a purely competitive point of view, both viewmodels are awful and don't deserve to exist on earth.
But I think we should start to stop just calling out valve and
blaming them for whatever they do. Let's try to be a bit more positive about new changes, I'm sure that with time things will get better. (But don't get me wrong, to be completely honest i fucking hate how viewmodels have been changed, I'm just glad they at least gave us an option)
Constructive criticism towards an update is significantly more helpful than just being positive about changes, although kneejerk reactions that "new update is shit" aren't helpful at all and people should be willing to try and roll with and test changes initially before deeming them to be bad.
Criticism of valve for locking viewmodels is entirely legitimate particularly when there are a fair number of people even in just this thread saying that it gives them nausea which actually straight up prevents people from playing the game as opposed to a hypothetical where players find the option confusing.
DamnEasyzigzterForcing viewmodels on the entire player base because new players might get confused when watching a select few streamers is ridiculous.
You can't seriously use that as an argument for forcing vewmodels.
Why not? Plenty of streamers already get tons of people asking things like "Where is your weapon?" "Where are your hands" and all that shit.
When someone asks this on a stream they get told "it's a setting that allows you to turn your gun off" and 9 times out of 10 they then go "Oh, how do I use that?". This is the entire point of the community surrounding a stream chat or youtube comment. People asking questions is not a problem and I genuinely don't see how this can ruin people's experiences to the extent that they wouldn't continue watching the stream/play the game. The game even has other cues that tell people what weapon/class is being used such as weapon sounds, class portraits, the killfeed, and what projectiles are being fired.
Imo viewers being confused for the first time they watch a game can be a good thing because it leads them to pay attention to more subtle things in an attempt to understand what's going on and therefore gain a greater understanding of the game as opposed to just watching passively, removal of viewmodels also removes something that's inherently distracting to viewers as well as players and forces people to focus on what's actually going on ingame.
Have people tried verifying their files? I'm not crashing at all
