it would be awesome if valve could some how work it to display on their main menu or in an ingame news post of some kind, would definitely familiarise newer players with the top players, because i dont think abdullah.jaffar123 knows who "hafficool" is
it'd be sick if you went into a casual game and some people we're like "hey dude did you see the showmatch last night?" "yeah hafficool was going huge that game!!"
"Damn I'm chocking worse than hafficool" is a quote from a random in a jump server so this probably happens more than we expect.
Quake is v similar to tf2 but a lot faster, translates even more if you use an fov of ~105ish which is similar to what tf2 uses on 16:9
CSGO is debatable. Almost certainly helps with sniper but imo the aimstyles are pretty different, the main difference being that you aren't going to want to aim for the center of the torso in CS when you are most of the time in TF2. Using a lower sens in CS than tf2 I think is generally better for everything except for maybe sniper because the aimstyles are so different and because you're going to have to track faster moving players and at closer range on scout.
If anyone has an extra bed in their hotel room or will let me sleep on the floor hmu on steam, I will pay.
This diagram (The nolan chart) definitely skews people towards the left libertarian side. A lot of the questions are pretty leading or just plain strange.
Also in general people are going to be skewed that way when your axes are literally both "freedom", particularly when one of your quadrants has Hitler as an example and another has Stalin and the bottom right quadrant is populated by people with anime avatars who write a short novella on their political views each week.
Try as hard as you can to finish up the part of your education you're currently on. I don't see much point in not finishing especially if you're close to the end and you aren't really studying.
If the next stage of your education doesn't appeal then maybe take a year out inbetween stages to do a job if that's possible. You might find that life outside really isn't enjoyable/there aren't many jobs with the quali you have and you might decide you want to go back and do that next step. If you straight up drop out you won't easily have the option to go back so imo this gives you the most options.
In the case of 0 stv delay, I don't think the casters' audio will be an issue but the stream was also being projected on a big screen, is this going to be in another room like i52, or the same large room like i55 because the latter could be visible from players' seats which might be an issue.
Brass beast could actually be a sick ambush weapon if u gave it a silent spinning sound like the tomislav. As an attribute would make way more sense on that weapon as opposed to the tomislav which is just better at direct combat anyway.
BrenEoNI assume there won't be cheatsheet for this LAN am I correct? If we're doing the same as DHS (99% sure we are) then yeah no cheat feed.
Hasn't cheat feed been used at the past 2 iseries though? Would love to see it used if possible, the camerawork at the last 2 events has been spectacular, capturing pretty much everything. I think iseries has historically had more/better pcs for production than dreamhack?
In any case extremely hyped to be attending.
I wish I could still believe these posts are satire but I've spent enough time reading shit like facebook comments on news articles that this doesn't surprise me at all.
Still pretty hilarious though.
Often if I've been playing a lot and I take like a week's break from fps games in general I find I come back pretty refreshed.
Alternatively if you have a team etc to commit to, try playing and just concentrating on gamesense, watching demos and stvs etc the entire week and don't stress if you miss shots, you'll probably find that your muscle memory comes back and most of the issue was in your head and you'll probably improve your play a lot in general as well.
tbh if it's overwatch but with quake engine and movement I'd play the shit out of that even if it wasn't an actual arena fps.
