Balance changes across the board were fairly questionable imo but hopefully with mm these changes will be more frequent and better targeted so stuff like this becomes less of an issue.

Core balance changes to non 6v6 classes were generally pretty well deserved, making med more enjoyable is a good design target but indirectly buffing scout by doing so probably isn't helpful (though imo the buff ingame actually isn't as significant as a lot of people are making out).

However, the change to the main menu that makes casual and competitive the default modes is really good, as is the emphasis on community servers for pub style gameplay over valve pubs- something that really kept people playing this game. If valve can improve balance more frequently then I think the game can succeed hugely, there were 1000 people concurrently searching in mm in the nearby region when I last played which was really nice to see. The actual patch itself was underwhelming but the infrastructure at least was sound.

Anyone know how to change the size/location of this text for the ds_record stuff? I like the idea of recording and bookmarks notifying me on my hud but I don't want it to be right in the center of the screen like this.

Quickiebomb update seems kind of dumb, should at least remove the deleting stickies attribute now and buff the scottish resistance to make that the sticky deleting weapon.

Engineer is a class designed around being an area denial class that builds a stationary aimbot. I hope that never becomes viable in 6s because it's really boring to play against.

Banners are extremely good for stalemates and when you're finding that nothing you're doing, suicides, exchanges etc isn't working. If you don't want to take any great risks one of the absolute best ways to break a stalemate between any points is to spam with conch (would probably work with backup too but conch fills faster), go in for a solo exchange and then repush with conch.
You can even go for a suicide as pocket or go back to spawn in a stalemate to do this if the stalemate is long enough, it's a really powerful tool and one that definitely doesn't get used enough, normally only used for last pushes.

Predictions:
Scotland Leaves UK because basically all of their constituencies voted to remain. They've come close before and this demonstrates a complete clash of opinion between states on an important issue where they don't have any autonomous democratic power.

The UK economy will stabilise but any money net saved by not being in the EU won't be put into public services and will probably be spent with legislation trying to entice those companies that leave back into the UK, e.g. lowering of corporation tax.

I will take my inherited Irish citizenship and do a PhD somewhere either in Europe or further abroad and escape this island filled with toxic waste.
