My comment is that the reason they buffed the SC in the first place was to make people use it.
The reason people don't use it is because the wrangler is kinda absurd. Nerf the wrangler, and all three unlocks get used.

I think we can all agree the underlying problem is with the wrangler being too good, obsoleting everything else.
Nerf the wrangler, nerf the SC. Problem solved.

Cockatrice does have decent people.

There's a difference between fun to play and fun to play against. Then there's interesting to play with or against.
It can be a lot of fun to use this... but never fun to get wrecked by it. And the gameplay is rather uninteresting and skillless.

Seriously. Split the wrangler between one that has double fire rate and no shield and one that has the normal fire rate and a shield.

That's how you make other items viable.

You comments seem to assume that the engi is just holding down M1. Assuming you're competent, it takes only 10 metal per rocket, if that. In that time, people can collapse on the spamming player.

The problem is that they unbalanced a bunch of weapons and didn't balance anything.

Honestly this is the worst update I can recall.
Short circuit update makes it the dumbest thing since minis. You literally can w+m1 a soldier or demo and they just die and can't do anything.
Crit-a-cola needed a nerf, not a buff.
Banner updates are either irrelevant or gravy.
Soda popper is interesting.
Diamondback seems on par with other revolvers now.

Worst of all, nothing new was added for christmas.
