kinda sounds like afterburn and airblast nerf and the glove seems kinda useless. gonna be fun testing the new hitreg on flamethrowers and messing with new weapons tho.

i dont know whats gonna happen in balance changes, but as of right now this is kinda nerfing stock and flare gun even more.

the only reason they increased the strength is because basically everything else about it is a nerf. airblast has always sucked as an ability, but its annoying as a mother fucker. this is a win win if they managed to make it both more powerful generally(unsure) and less annoying (definitely the case)

I need to see this new afterburn effect in play before I see it, but it sounds nice to not have to take a bunch of set damage of damage for just a tick of flame hitting you.

honestly i like the increased strength with the increase air control. what made airblast really annoying was that you could be airblast multiple times and a very predictable fashion. with these changes it will require more skill to hit your combo shots and fits the pyro now that he is getting some mobility changes to himself.

Honestly, I could see the increased airblast strength be a bad thing for pyro in many situations. Unless he's already got you in a corner (or there are lots of death pits around), being propelled further might just help you escape more easily by airstrafing away.

the higher force is pretty much necessary since theyre factoring in speed of the target. like right now its strength is based around how it stuns the target. but after this change youd have to account for the speed of someone walking at you or the pyro backing away. if it kept the same force then itd struggle to push players back much at all under pretty common circumstances.

this is actually a good point. i wonder if you will be able to kinda add to the distance after being airblasted even more by strafing away.

stronger airblast+more control from enemy player may mean that its gonna be worse in dm situation but great in denying.

its kinda nerfing flare gun even more since airblasted enemies are going to fly away further and be unpredictable. you will almost need hitscan on secondary. i wonder if they are going to change flare gun tomorrow.
