one reason may be people will get pissed off if their skins get deleted. i guess they could compensate w/ something else but some people will still be mad

also who's to judge which weapons are 'unfair'? how will they decide which weapons to delete and which to fix?

because there's some user out there who only plays sniper and has a Sydney sleeper in every form and his strange ones are all leveled up to hale's own from only farming them in achievement idle servers and his favorite one has 696969 kills on its name and description of it consists of just a bunch of lenny faces.

Also it's been stated before I think that removing any weapons is without a doubt off the table, so waiting for the annual rebalance update is really all that we can hope for outside of the individual leagues banning weapons

Remember also that some people paid Valve money (way too much) for unlocks directly through the Mann Co Store

I've never seen a Valve Employee be genuinely good at the game, hit an epic airshot, or anything like that

A player that isn't very good at the game will have completely different opinions about what weapons are good or "fair" than a comp player or even a pubstar. In other words:

nope, b4nny never said what it was, other than that valve thought it was a nerf but he thought it would be a buff. he gave his opinion about it and then it wasn't released in the end.

why would they remove a bunch of unlocks that appeal to the casual fanbase? if they removed the weapons that aren't used in 6s i guarantee even more players would leave than those who got alienated by casual. the correct way to do it is to balance weapons around high level 6s in such a way that they don't completely break pubs.
