I'm interning in the engineering department for a local composite molding company. Right now I'm mainly learning how to run/service the CNC machine. I also occasionally help design parts.

For the last 4 years I've been running excavator, backhoe, skid steer, dump truck, etc. etc. Also shovel, and rake. It's fun, but also stressful when you're running a machine in tight spaces next to breakable shit. (which is almost everything)

Video gaming has somehow translated well into pulling joysticks irl. Hand eye coordination, I suppose.

fahrenheitPete_I work as a paramedic. I like the job but the pay is pretty bad for 12 hour shifts only.
How long did it take you to get through EMT school?

I would imagine that it is a little bit different in Austria than how it is in the US. You have to attend a course for roughly 3 months while doing an apprenticeship for the ambulance. Then you have a massive practical and theoretical exam and after that you are a paramedic. I additionally took an extra driving test so that I could also drive ambulance cars :)
