im looking for chill games i can play while watching twitch or something

something like hearthstone (or other online ccgs) works but im looking for stuff like a turn-based strategy or some kind of single player rts without time pressure (e.g. factoryidle.com). something else that could work might be you must build a boat where runs aren't particularly pressured and take a min or two, plus i love the stats/upgrade climb in games like that

any ideas?

dont starve? (windowed next to stream) idk may be a bit of a push

You can always just customize your game though so it doesnt require your full attention.

fallout 1 or 2 and baldur's gate (you can set combat to autopause each turn so it's fully "turn based")
civ is always good
hexcells is fun

If you're not against emulators the GBA Fire Emblem games are a good starting point. Or Pokemon as others have said. Or even other older JRPGs on the GBA like Golden Sun.

If you are into sandbox games Terraria style, Starbound is great, no pressure in doing campaign quests, exploration is fun and building / personalizing your ship is super fun since the creative tools are easy to use and there is a lot of room for it, also, the sprites of the game are beautiful.
Game is fun even if you play only 30 minutes sometimes, also as long as you make a character in casual difficulty (no hunger metter and no inventory drops on death), you can alt tab all you want.

The Fire Emblem series is a decent turnstyle strategy series that's easy to hop in and out of.

Kinda weebish but it passes the time.

commandos: behind enemy lines is a very cool strategy game that happens in real time, but you can pause and have plenty of time for planning etc.

it's cheap and fun, but alt-tabbing with it is a bit janky because of how old it is

-Block'hood
-Any RCT game (1 and 3 were my favorites)
-Spelunky
-Fallout games can be fun since there is a lot of walking involved (if u can alttab quickly)
-Super Meat Boy and OlliOlli 1/2 are fun if u have a second to just try it and go back to the stream
-Also I have to rep hyper light drifter bc I love that game

if you're OK with single player games, i think turn-based games are great. you have all the time in the world and most of them have a very chill environment, particularly turn-based strategy
an example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Je4N6SOquc
or how about city building stuff like Anno? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0d-q3mT0OwY

both games are part of long series, so in case you dig them you'd have plenty of games to try

little inferno is really chill, or maybe telltale games like the walking dead/wolf among us cause they're mostly dialogue and easy to follow

i'd also recommend super hexagon if you're fine with a higher energy game, really grindy and good for playing in short bursts
