TF2 Crashing on startup?

I just updated TF2 with the latest patch and every time I start the game, I see the valve video, then the game crashes.

Anyone else experiencing this / know how to fix this?

mine was also and i just had to reapply my nvidia inspector settings (idk why this fixed it but it did)

Mine was crashing, removed custom folder it worked. It actually wasn't notohud doing it though. I removed ABS_MRP and it worked. I don't think its huds.

It seems like just removing or changing anything to do with tf2 allows it to start after the update, which is weird.
