Good jump maps for beginner/intermediate jumpers?

I've been looking for some jump maps to play on and haven't found many beyond some super basic ones and some super complicated ones. Do you guys have any good maps that kind of meet in the middle?

jump_oats_b3 and jump_home(_b2?) have a good difficulty curve for newer jumpers imo. They start quite basic but get fairly challenging towards the end. Nothing impossible.

just look through the list and find some maps that you've completed and then look for new ones you haven't played at a similar tier

personally I like 4starters because it goes from super easy to decently hard

easy:
beef
rckteer
rush
orange
4starters, though it has a big skill curve from ezpz to ending up at the harder end of intermediate

intermediate:
eons
pagoda
jurf
cheval
tholos
littleman
momentum
above
annex
quba

demo jumping is imo harder initially but ends up being just as hard, though quite fundamentally different

rj_training personally did me more help than any.

jump_competitive also helps show you what you can do on a map.

I think the easiest way to find maps at your level would to play on the Tempus servers, you can use /incomplete to keep track of the maps you've beaten and work through the t1-3 maps pretty quickly.

Smytherjump_competitive also helps show you what you can do on a map.

Personally I would never recommend jump_competitive to anybody who wants to learn to jump because the map is honestly super annoying to play. Tons of jumps on maps that aren't even in the rotation or haven't been for as long as I have played (Freight, Well, Turbine, Croissant????) as well as kind of forcing you into doing the jumps in one way (For example the lower to lower jump on Snakewater can be done tons of different ways but both almost everything is clipped off in that version) . Granted it is a jump map so I understand having a lot of stuff that way but I personally just find it super frustrating and I don't see why anybody would choose it over just playing maps on a local server.

I'd just go on one of the Tempus beginner servers (they have east and west coast and are listed on tftv's server page) and play whatever's there. Not all the maps in rotation are fantastic, but you'll gain exposure to a lot of different ones, and the rtv and automatic map votes every half hour keep you trying new things, which can help to not get frustrated. :)

Also, I think jump above is probably my favorite beginner map.

i think that it's a great map but it's also harder than it looks/needs to be, which can be v frustrating for beginners. the last jump took me so long to have any consistency with.

If you're trying to better your jump game for stuff beyond just jump maps:

Cheval is a fantasic intermediate map. Lots of precision jumps, not a lot of gimmicky jump-map only stuff.

I've never really liked jump competitive, as many of the jumps are pretty useless, or it has you practicing the easier half of something instead of the harder half (process rollout). I'm not saying it's not worth a play through or two though.

Play bball too. Jump maps don't teach you how to jump and not get hit.

Melon's list is p good. Tempus Servers are a solid place to go. I don't play tf2 anymore but if you wanna ball I can dust off the sneakers.
