Hey guys, recently I casted a game for a bit of fun and really enjoyed it, casting is something I've thought about getting into for a while and I was wondering if there's anyone out there with a bit more experience that wouldn't mind sharing a few tips?
Some feedback I've already received is to just not swear at all because it makes me sound like a prepubescent child who can't manage his words. Also to learn how to play the game before I start to cast.
Here are the two casts I did do

(No game sound because of my sound card fucking up) Game starts at 3 minutes in
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2gQlak5qvs This is the second one, this was after I had gotten up at 5am to watch the Shanghai major and was absolutely hanging the entire day, so as a result I sound depressed asf, still looking for feedback but not really proud of this cast

I finally got my internet working with obs so I'll probably stream it, doubt anyone would like to watch but still I'll post it here on the off chance someone wants to. http://www.twitch.tv/brenhs at roughly 8pm CET

To clarify something, in all the videos Bren has provided; the huds are broken due to his own stupidity. I told him to update them (they were oldish huds that I maintained and updated myself) and he was reluctant to do so, even simple things like installing the fonts for his latest cast would have nullified the only problem it seemingly had (uber showing 10.. on 100%).

Figured I'd drop my question in here rather than making a new thread, does anyone know if it is possible to have a separate HUD that only applies when I exec a casting config? The only reason I ask is because anytime I want to cast I'll have to swap the folders around, which isn't a huge issue in itself but it is a bit annoying.

maybe use something like 4plug that will let you switch out huds with a click or two? its a lot easier

Why do you need a new hud? I cast with the same one I play with. You only need names and hp bars in spec to cast imo.

First of all sorry for any players who names I mispronounced, I genuinely think I am slightly mentally retarded. Secondly I was very nervous and said "at the moment" a lot, those words trigger me now so I hope I will not make the same mistake again.
Was a lot of fun hopefully will do some more practice casts soon to work out the issues I have, thanks for the support so far, a lot of people messaging me feeding my ego, you only have yourselves to blame when I'm an unbearable cunt.

STOP BREATHING THROUGH YOUR TEETH or whatever the THHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH is in between rapid calls, I've only just realized how much you do it after piecing together the cast to upload.
