Highest Skill ceiling in tf2.

We've probably heard in early days of tf2, to play a "real" class. What is a "real" class? What in your opinion has the absolute highest skill ceiling?

Sorry If this thread has been made before.

You have to be at the skill ceiling to be a complete Egotistical Douche bag.

if a class requires less mechanical skill to fulfil its duty on the team, the player will have less room for fuck ups. "easy" class = high expectations. therefore, there is no easier class. it's a team game.

if you can get away with not playing with your team and big-dicking everything, you might be playing teams that are worse than yours.

The highest skill ceiling in TF2 is playing captain and keeping your team together for more than two seasons.

tyrone = best tf2 player alive

the game itself has a high skill ceiling, some classes are better at things than others, so some things are harder for some classes.

so essentially, none of the classes, especially since no one has hit the skill ceiling of a class, and probably never will

demo

its high enough for all the main classes such that it's not a big deal tho, i think scout is probably the easiest to master but top scouts still differentiate themselves by a large margin

logically medic would have a lower skill ceiling than scout, because you can still have the same amount of gamesense as both classes, but scouts dm is aim and dodging, while medic's dm is just dodging( or at least it should be )

I believe only a few people are qualified to answer this question because it requires personal experience playing multiple classes at the very top level of competition to really have a valid opinion on it. Like Platinum could tell you which is harder between demo and soldier, ruwin can tell us between scout and medic. Heck, Harb can probably give a good answer for all of those classes, aside from demo maybe.

Anyone else is just guessing. :/

Nobody will ever come CLOSE to a skill ceiling so the discussion is pretty pointless, think about it. As a scout, you would need to hit every single shot for maximum damage. Every single shot. If you think anyone is remotely close to this then you are mistaken. As sniper, you would need to never miss a headshot, ever. You would also need impeccable gamesense and never get caught out of position, not even once.

That being said, the best players in the game can potentially be the best at every class, so the key to becoming the best is not understanding one class to its maximum potential as the thread may have you believe, but understanding every class and the overall flow of the game. To be the best at any class you require good aim, good movement, and good gamesense, there's no way around it.

Fin.
