im pretty sure i heard on ma3las stream that for the end part of them being elevate, they werent recieving anything so changing to ascent wasnt much of a change

That's different to being eLevate by name only and receiving no support. They were officially part of the org (as was the Reason roster until now) unlike the Epsilon/#tf2center roster which just used the team name and roster and were not officially part of the org.
