That's my thoughts. Truth be told I could have seen TF2 piggybacking on the ESL One CS tourny if we had more players right now. You never know they might anyways.

tf2 is profitable depending on the amount of teams that sign up with no LAN
of course I'm not taking into account tf2 admins and client development which probably makes it unprofitable
