Just bought it because it's £3.50 on steam right now. Movement feels good although coming from a source game it feels weird not to be crouching all the time. Some performance issues at 4k on high preset even with SLI 980s but that's to be expected in early access, no trouble at all on the medium preset. Fov and sensitivity controls were completely fine for me. Played 2 games of 8 man FFA and holy shit it was fun, came third in the second #pubstar. Hard to say after just 2 games but it's making me fall in love with the arena FPS again.

Have you tried verifying your game cache and all that standard stuff? Apart from that, I've seen a few people have some trouble with AMD. The devs are working to fix those issues I'm pretty sure, so keep posted every patch and give it a go.

The net code works fine for me, updates are rare and minor (they just put in a plasma gun), there was an update a few months ago that optimised it, I get a consistent 144+ at 1080p rendering resolution on average hardware ymmv. It's fun when you get a balanced 1vs1 but those are pretty rare. To really get into the game I'm waiting on MM so I can get into games quicker and not have to queue on duel servers.

doesnt have playable tdm maps yet, and really bothers me that everyone has a different colour. one is green other one is pink, the outline doesnt really helps in teammodes. im still waiting for a forcecolor command.

wsw is as dead as cpma, and imo has little to no hope of growing
reflex brings some new things to the table and is really early in its development cycle, the programmers also have much more experience than the people who wrote wsw did

as for TDM maps there are actually a few (not many but there are definitely a few), if you don't think there is playable TDM maps you haven't been looking ;o

the player outlines are a bit annoying right now but afaik the plan as the game develops is to add a seperate model for teammates so they're easier to distinguish and you can have any colour you want

wsw is as dead as cpma, and imo has little to no hope of growing

I believe the separate model for teammates idea was scrapped since they plan on monetizing skins, and will have the outlines distinguish teams.

You can play it but it's very bare bones in terms of features and graphics. It doesn't have major problems in terms of game-breaking, but it's basically a client/engine with little content. The community is very small and you can only really find duels reliably.

As the game is developed I don't think they're going to make major changes so things you learn now should carry on.
