First navigate to your custom hud files found in your custom folder.

Then locate the scoreboard.res file found in resource\ui.

Open scoreboard.res in a text editing program. Find the code labeled "scores".

Below the element labeled "tabPosition" indent a new element and name it "medal_width" and make sure its value is "0".

indent:

label:

(The underscore got drawn over but there is an underscore. "medal_width" "0")

Then save the file and restart TF2.

Should go from this:

The gunmetal badge flickers on the scoreboard sometimes and I don't know why. This should fix the scoreboard sizing issues for the mean time while you are waiting for your huds to update. Hope this helps.

EDIT: Thanks Goofy

GoofyGorillaI fixed a few huds for people today and found that sometimes making the medal option set to 15 and the ping_width option set to 17 fixed it. Only for people who don't care if the medal is there.

Not sure why you guys set to either 0 or 2, both made mine flick (I'm using bastHUD). Setting it to values above 10 made it static, but compressed. I'm using 20 and it's perfect.

Setting it to 0 or 2 for huds that aren't updated yet because setting it to 10 or 20 will usually push the whole scoreboard element to the side on not updated huds

I see. Just reporting that values can go above 0/2; whoever has issues, try them out. Whatever floats our boats.
