Interest in a roamer spot video?

Hey, just wondering if anyone would be interested in a roamer hiding spot video? I know there are some videos that show SOME of the hiding spots, but a fair few of them have been patched out of the game (as those videos are a year or two old). I'd be showcasing hiding spots (with commentary) on cp_metalworks_rc7, koth_viaduct_pro7, cp_badlands, cp_process_final, cp_gullywash_final, cp_granary (not granary_pro), cp_snakewater_final1, and cp_sunshine. I'll also try and show how visible you are from said spots (from another player's perspective). It'll also show which spots are accessible as a scout. When I was new to roaming, I always wished there was an up to date hiding spot guide, but there wasn't. Hopefully this'll provide that. I'll probably do it in a month or two from now, when I have more free time though. Thoughts?

Besides what I already stated, what else should I showcase? I was thinking that a video full of useful roamer double walljumps would be good, but I was thinking I would make that into another video

I'm a new player to comp tf2 and I play roamer myself, I would love a video where you show all the hiding spots in all the comp maps that are frequently played in 6s and show how visible you are to the enemy in said hiding spots etc as I probably dont know about 80% of the hiding spots for roamer. I just wish you could make that video much sooner, like this week sooner :P

Got any tips for other videos that show most of the hiding spots for roamer?

If I may, maybe you should make it a separate vids, in reason for further details so each vids really capture what you explain/show.

this video shows off some on granary and badlands, but some of them are patched and it's also a bit short

I've actually considered making a video like this myself. For other things to showcase, obviously another major aspect of roamer is rocket jumping, and i think it would be worth it to showcase common jumps like the process fast rollout and the badlands jump across mid. Specifically jumps from forward spawn to get to your team are incredibly useful for a roamer to know. If this isn't common knowledge my friend and I used r_drawclipbrushes 2 to find nearly all of the soldier spots in this video on pl_borneo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zloXFtuTVA.

Just a side note - I wouldn't recommend relying on hiding spots if you're new to the game and getting into roaming. The higher skill level you play at more and more people will check for you and you'll end up donating a pick, if instead you work on your timing and try to coordinate with your team for the force or pick you want to go for then not only will it be more successful but your survival is also a lot more likely.

Not to say that hiding spots serve no purpose, if you can get into a really forward spot quickly where/when the other team wont expect (to check for) you then definitely go for it. They're definitely effective at lower skill levels but make sure you don't start relying on them and have a solid roaming game to fall back on.

that would be cool but if a lot of people end up watching the video the 'hiding' spots won't really work anymore since people will know to start checking them

Yes please. As a pocket, I want to know where all the spots are.

realistically people should be checking them anyway, they will not work consistently if the other team is adaptive
