#1 Competitive Trickjumps in Videos

Hey it's been awhile since I last did anything with TF2 but I was going back through some old youtube videos of mine and thought I'd share a set of old trickjumps done on comp maps.

The theme is the jumps either end in the place they started or the exact opposite side of the map.
I put dozens of hours into these over the course of a few months but never got around to editing a full video.
If anyone wants to try their hand at making a formal jump movie I can send over the demos.

So this may not be as beneficial as some of the other changes mentioned, but on the blue side of the map there seems to be something weird going on with the wall above the exit onto 2nd. I'm normally pretty good about finding hiding spots but this one was found by accident. If you jump towards the wall in line with the center of the control point you can get stuck in several different places. and since there is no collision around that area you have free reign to shoot anywhere. I don't know enough about mapping as to why this happens, and its not something that everyone would use because its not very consistent, but i can tell its an unintended spot. It might not have been a problem if i never brought it up if no one knew about it already, but i thought id point it out just to bring some attention.

#13 Fast Soldier Rollouts in Videos

Both of these rollouts will be faster than the enemy combo to their own choke, but you sacrifice the number of rockets loaded at the end for speed.
I've found fast rollouts for standard maps that you can make unexpected plays with, but they require harder jumps and are therefore more inconsistent. I think the biggest thing that can be improved upon right now is streamlining practical rollouts from forward spawns because those could be done consistently and save a whole lot of time.

This would be really neat. Assuming there would be separate brackets for demo and soldier races, how would the maps be determined? The only way that would make sense to me is to have a pre-determined map for each round of the bracket but you might have had another idea.

I can't be disappointed with my first season in IM but narrowly missing playoffs arguably due to roster changes i'm looking to join a team that could make playoffs in IM. I'm pretty level-headed and am perfectly fine main calling.
I have put in a lot of work towards getting better and I think I can take it a step further with the right team.
I'm consistently available to scrim 9:30-11:30 Sun. - Thurs.

4812622Only competent player on gr8stalin's open team, IM capable DM and pretty cool in pugs. As long as he doesn't disappear and works hard on not feeding, he deserves a shot in IM.

I honestly feel like I made a mistake taking the team into playoffs since all playoff open teams got moved up to IM. The team likely would've adapted much better and improved playing in open this season rather than IM. I also would disagree that rain should get a shot in IM, he would need to prove himself competent in open.

I can't say that I've played with Rain for a whole season, but for that matter I don't think he has ever played a full season with a team either. His disappearances are expected at this point, but it's the fact that he made no attempt to reach out to our team members and provided no way to contact him, rather than him not being able to make matches/scrims. He likes to play aggressive and it is hurtful to the flank in some cases, but if he says hes working on it then I cannot fault him for it. If there's a group of gamers that wants a scout with good dm and can help rain play as a teammate i think he'd be a good fit. Good luck finding a team.
