really cool of you to do. have fun i know ill be watching!
Can I reserve a spot for poolday? Hide in the stalls?
The server is set up as a typical first-come-first-serve pub server, with reserved slots for myself and a few other members of the BUDSQUAD. The reserved slots should be set up so as to not break auto-join, though.
i am the worst player in 1.6 but i'll try to make this :3
That was a lot of fun. Are you gunna make this like a weekly or bi-weekly thing?
^ That probably would get boring fast. We ran out of maps and even started using additional maps, running out (I think) of them around 7:30.
Glad you guys enjoyed it.

This was a one-off event. It was getting tiresome by the end of the stream, I don't think there's enough novelty there to justify a repeated series.
However, I am interested in doing more one-off events for other games (or groups of games). My main criteria is that the game/gamemode be intensely dumb and have good potential for comedy (see: joust maps in CS as a prime example of this). Nostalgia factor is a plus. I'm looking for stuff that is so novel that it will probably only be fun for 2-3 hours, but those few hours will be pretty interesting.

if possible, it'd be cool if the next time you do multiplayer stuff, the server could be in new york or closer to the east coast so europeans can join in and not get wrecked by the ping
