CamusTesting transparent spectator panels.It fits well with the targetids and killfeed, but honestly I prefer things to have at least semi-transparent if not opaque backgrounds, just for the sake of legibility. It is of course your hud and your design choice, I would just recommend if you go with this style to have a very clear way of seeing who is dead and who is alive at a glance, perhaps with a dead icon, or maybe a red background or something. The hud is coming along great though :)
edit: just saw the dead players have grayed out class icons, that works (though obviously I couldn't tell so quickly just at a glance, but I'd probably get used to it)
I have the same feeling actually, I changed the respawn timer color to purple because it was hard to tell who was actually dead. I will maybe move it on top of the class icons, or create a custom dead icon.
For the boxes I was thinking in making it a little more complex but we will see.

Edit: Also you can see through the transparent panels when a sniper is using the scope, it looks weird.
Moving the respawn timer on the class icon would be great, that would separate alive/dead on the player icons by having a number or no number, and also by the health having a number or no number.
The transparent panels I'm not sure how to fix with the scope, maybe it's just an stv bug thing? I would like to see them being class colored though and perhaps less transparent to be more in line with the design of the hp/ammo panel. Same for the targetid/killfeed, but I guess that's more of a design choice. I just feel like it should at least be consistent, with things having backgrounds or no backgrounds.
