Just finished tagging and individually editing all 522 photos I picked (out of the 2812 shot) - waiting for my DNS to switch over so that I have CDN set up for this, and need to actually populate the album site. (total will actually be a bit higher than 522, I haven't done most teams' staged individual headshots - just the team photos, candids, and event photos)
Aiming to finish up this weekend :)

Photos are up!
I'm pretty sure I managed to get a decent candid of every single player at the event :) Photos are all tagged with the players in them, with the exception of some of the crowd shots. I also have photos of most players individually in front of the step&repeat banner that I still need to edit sometime. Message me on Discord @dubthink with any comments/corrections, would love to hear faves as well :)
By the numbers:
- 2812 photos shot (238 GB)
- 520 photos edited/cropped/tagged for the gallery (ended up using a midi controller with Lightroom to speed things up)
- 90 GB of video (B roll, players+crowd in PC area, stage footage) if anyone's doing a video project on the event, just hmu
- ~20 hours editing + 15 hours webdev to build the gallery site (no imgur no ads :) )
shoutouts to:
- dave2 and sandblast for bringing unrivaled spectator energy
- bungalow for having the worst names to type when tagging photos (and soapy, and the GOAT, san antonio 1998 green mustang)
- bethnicz and Plum for helping with photography throughout
- everyone on production for working with me to do the stagecam, I'm really happy with how that came out
- all my previous teammates/opponents I got to say hi to, it was cool to discover how many people remember me lol
There's a lot of photogenic mfs in the TF2 scene, y'all were fun to shoot, CU@ the next ???
