Back in the day the argument was all about not seperating the pubbers too much from the competitive mode.
Now we are basically already playing promod with the gunbloats change.
Can't we just set fov limit to 120 while we are at it? It only breaks past 120fov afaik!
Any reason we aren't doing this?

why stop at 120, with some shaders you can get up to 200. Yeah it's quake and its a mod, but PerfectPerspective already exists for Reshade and you could prolly mess around with it and your resolution to have this in tf2

ive played the tf2 classic mod and it allows u to switch ur fov and man, i forgot how great it felt to just have wider peripheral vision; game feels better this way

Whenever I try playing a game with ridiculous fov I actually see less of my surroundings because I have to focus so hard to see the tiny little guy I'm trying to aim at in the middle of the screen

i made this thread it doesn't work ppl don't care ppl tell u to use 1920 x 1080 if u wanna see the most

iirc i think ppl fear scouts will just be even better which i agree but i was playing soldier at the time and i just wanted to see more when i was doing fast bombs
