Some people here do actually go to mexico first and then sneak in, un-ironically sounds like a plan. Getting a visa is so hard for us, its almost like they are BEGGING us to illegally come.

If you don't mind me asking, how old are you?
And I'm sorry for your situation :( I have an understanding as to how much your country's government sucks. Stay safe.

If you have a close relative here, that's the easiest way. If you don't, there's no way unless you're skilled enough at something for an employer here to apply for an H1B visa. Even then, you might not get in because there are only a limited number of visas allocated per year. And even if you did get the H1B, your employer would have to then apply for a green card for you to stay beyond the temporary period allowed by the H1B. It takes around 6-10 years to get a green card after applying and another 5-6 years for citizenship.

Needless to say, this is extremely difficult. Don't think that because getting a visa here is difficult, crossing the border illegally is a walk in the park. There are skeletons in the Sonoran desert, and they aren't all Bobcats and Peccaries.

You need either a parent, spouse, or child in the U.S. to move here legally. Your mom's half-sister isn't close to good enough, sadly. I'd seriously try moving somewhere else in Europe - There just isn't any way you can come to the U.S. legally.

i assumed based on the amount of words in the original thread that you weren't looking for real guidance. sorry about my joke reply earlier

As other comments said, you'd probably be better off looking at options in western europe, as that has the potential to open you up to going all over the EU. The effort-to-quality ratio for moving to the US is perhaps the highest in the world. There are plenty of places that are just as nice and much easier (though obviously still challenging) to move to.

No matter where you try to go: More than anything else, build up marketable skills. For better or for worse, that is what any country worth immigrating to will be looking for. Can the skillset you bring be worth the price of getting you your visa/citizenship? - That is the question any company will be asking themselves when looking at bringing you.
