u should post an lft (looking for team) that includes what division youd want to play and what class

There's already a 6v6 season running at the moment so there probably aren't many teams looking for players ; there should be many more transfers and teams lfp once this season concludes somewhere in December.

Learn to play the game in tf2c, but dont take it too seriously because tf2c is shit. Then watch some videos. Then just skip open its genuinely a waste of time.

I think you're simplifying it but I get where you're coming from. If you have a lot of playtime in dmixes/pugs you can often make your entry above open and probably around mid (even higher if you have a LOT of experience in prem pugs) but without those avenues you should probs start in open, and it's probably better overall to get playing in an organised setting than to sit on the sidelines grinding dmixes until you feel comfortable enough to debut in mid or something.

Yup im over simplifying but u rlly just gotta find a friendly group u can dmix with and learn the basics. Once u get good enough and understand the game to a decent level u can play pugs. Pple will call u shit and wont pick u, but over time u will improve and pple change their perception of u and ur skill level quickly. Keep an open mind and always listen to advice from more experienced players and you'll be a beast.
