Sadly, you can't. HUD crosshairs stay there no matter what.

A mix of omp + rays + imagine huds. Still huge amount of bugs. Everything is removed from scoreboard on purpose :)

Have not tried this but I know theres an option with steam to not draw hud in tf2 screenshots so that might be worth a shot?

Moved the killfeed due to clipping with minmode.

Got a bit bored so I threw together a small edit of ya hud. I kind of wanted to recreate this hud, I don't know how Skappa was able to get the thick borders around the health and ammo though.

my edited garm3n hud to be like a Quake live hud, crosshair change to red when hit someone, the crosshair is exactly the same Yz50 use in quake (i think), and other stuffs

2 huds im currently working on ! A improved default hud while keeping the overall aesthetics, and a modded mangachud with a bunch of stuff fixed but still a few bugs that i have no idea how to fix, like the overheal crosshair gets cutted on top or the meters that are still visible behind the win panel.
Changelog for mangachud:
minimal centered ammo and hp position
default scoreboard
default main menu
default class selection
fixed some shadows
fixed mvm stuff
changed ctf hud and colours
fixed koth timer colours
changed killfeed position and colours
fixed bow meter
fixed some meters
fixed target id data label
changed sticky charge meter
corrected some build menu stuff
fixed HudMenuSpyDisguise label
fixed waiting for players label
fixed stopwatch position

I changed a few things with the ammo panel so it looks a little bit different, nothing really significant though. Keep in mind that a lot of the base hud (5MD) is unchanged, I didn't really mess with the spec hud and win panel since the Imagine font looks really ugly when it's scaled down.

As Skappa mentioned above you have to use shadows to get the thick borders around the font, the only issue is that it's a bit of a pain to setup with the ammo panel.
