I agree, I will not be running the ESEA client & paying premium now that S13 is over.
I'll be taking this slip up as an opportunity to stand against the problems I've had with ESEA before, and I will register for a new league in the coming seasons.
My full support with be going to whichever league I feel has the best intentions for TF2 and the community, and is not solely in Esports for financial gain.

I am no legal expert, but this seems to be referring their policy on changes to the SITE not the client. Also even if this was for the client, they are saying that they will give notice of these changes, which was not done when the bitcoin miner was added. So under this random img that has no link or source, and is not even relevant to the client, they have violated the ToS.
But again I am no expert.

Agreed however we in NA are also sort of dependent on ESEA. The last thing we need is for them to go under just as we where about to get a main division...

TFC died eventually because it got old, valve stopped supporting it, times changed, and people moved on to other games. TF2s release sealed the fate.sorry but that doesn't sound like a great situation to me. yes tfc may have sustained itself but i doubt it continued to grow. tf2 right now has been slowly but steadily growing over the past couple seasons with it being on the verge of its biggest season yet. if esea were to die that would change.

The principle behind the fact that we are still all paying for a service provided by ESEA. It doesn't matter that we aren't effected by it in the slightest. They are a business for god sake man, its low of them to what they did and you should be pissy about it as well.

If you expect me, a person who has class, a life (heh), and other things to do to go through and click every link that i see and expect to understand a field which I have no understanding in, I am sorry. I would say they could be charged for destruction of property, as some hardware has been destroyed since this code was pushed to the main client build. It would just be from negligence instead of intentional (at least, I hope whoever did this didn't want anyone's GPUs to die from this), and would just result in a fine.

Under that thought, as long as it doesn't affect you directly then it shouldn't matter? What if your internet browser was doing that? Would that bother you? I mean I don't like to use google chrome for selling my information, even though it is better than Firefox
