SpaceCadet Trump wasn't elected into any office yet so nobody can judge him on what he may or may not do once elected.

Pretty sure people can judge him as a CEO tho, which dosent help his case much.

It's like saying, he never ran for office so he's clean by default... he dosent have the mental ability to a president, period.

Journalists once asked him about his foreign policy agenda and who he was referring to by saying this or that. He answered with ''myself''.

Regarding foreign policy, il leave this here.

Please dont elect him.

I understand where you are coming from but it really goes back to having no good choices in this election. Since I refuse to vote for Hillary, that either means I don't vote at all or vote Trump by default. I want better options! Going to have to settle on waiting 4 more years and hoping.

Daffodil-I am not sure whether to feel bad or good for future US history students that study this election.

bout a 90% chance they're going to have Hillary be seen pretty positively as the first female president who continued the reforms of the first black president and paved the way to bringing the US into the 21st century in areas like healthcare or education

Literally no one (who matters) is going to care about the emails or w/e in 6 months

like sac keeps coming into these threads with incomprehensive and incoherent bullshit disguised as facts relevant to his argument. like at the very least format it properly and properly summarise whatever sources you're using. your rhetoric is fucking despicable to the point where it's impossible to decipher where you're going with your arguments; you're just pushing some right-wing position at whatever cost.

i mean i might just be a dumb kid but i mean if you're knowingly adressing clueless "18 year-old yankeedoodles" at least give them some shit that's relevant to what's being discussed.

Seeing people arguing about who is going to be elected when every single presidential candidate is the same right wing corporation controlled retard is pretty hilarious.
Honestly, if you think you have a choice or believe that Trump or whoever wins is making a difference to how the US is going to behave you're deeply mistaken.
The US is going to keep on doing what they've been doing for decades and that is playing the 'good' policeman of the world.
Its sad to see the world having access to so much historical data and yet still allows secularism to prevail.

I actually have a sociopolitical blog that I started about a month ago after doing some analyses on a few things related to politics/BLM/Bernie/Donald/etc./etc./etc.

The most recent post is about how people support things that don't actually benefit them at all. In particular, I commented on Donald Trump's rise and how by supporting Democrats the African American population in the US is not only hurting themselves but also contributing to starvation and suffering in Africa via the US cotton industry. Enjoy.

Nothing like an opportunity for a shameless plug.

You didn't even respond right though. You clearly don't understand american culture or history if you think the sort of racism that exists and is supported by trump is the same that was popular in the 60s. Trying to say "well america was racist before" is pointless because we aren't talking about 1960s racism, which had a voice in 1960s politicians. We're talking about 2016 racism, which until now hasn't had a unified voice in a 2016 politician

your inability to understand that and separate historical and contemporary political identities is why everyone thinks you're an idiot

eeeyour inability to understand that and separate historical and contemporary political identities is why everyone thinks you're an idiot

I like how you always use "we", when spouting your own retarded opionon ,elliot. Multiple personality disorder, pluralis majestis or just speaking in name of some circlejerk? I also gave the example of BLM people protesting for the clintons using the term "super predators" to describe gang people. but you decided to ignore that and yell "muh 1860" for a while.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/ronda-lee/hillarys-superpredator-comment_b_9655052.html

hpostTherefore, Hillary’s comment holds more significance than simply referring to gang members. It was used to justify mass incarceration for many crack addicts and small dose marijuana users, not dealers. The focus was not rehabilitation of the addicts, but punitive punishment. Prisons are big business in the United States and people business is good! Mandatory minimums and longer sentences makes for huge profits. Have we forgotten about the judges that took bribes from private prisons to send juveniles away? Ironically, now that heroin has taken a foothold in white suburbia, those harsh sentencing guidelines are being struck down in favor of rehabilitation over prison. What about black and Latino addicted youth that were incarcerated? Well, they had to be brought to heel.

SpaceCadetI understand where you are coming from but it really goes back to having no good choices in this election. Since I refuse to vote for Hillary, that either means I don't vote at all or vote Trump by default. I want better options! Going to have to settle on waiting 4 more years and hoping.

Look, I don't give a shit if you're an alt right racist with no grasp of how our economy works and want to vote for Trump solely because you hate the dirty goatfuckers or whatever, but please don't vote Trump just because you don't like Hillary. At the very least, just stay home on election day. Or vote third party. You DO have options.

Also, you aren't "waiting 4 more years". The candidate who gets inducted into office aren't gonna just be there quietly doing nothing at all for 4 years while you patiently wait for two more "hopefully-less-bad" candidates to vote for. Don't be so impassive, I implore you.

Voting 3rd party is the same as not voting. Be realistic.

I feel like I can't vote for Hillary on principal cuz of the DNC shenanigans. Doesn't feel like a democratic election after that shit got leaked. So now my options are to not vote, or vote for Trump. I'm leaning heavily towards not voting, but maybe Trump can convince me by November that he's not going to be a disaster.

sacHallowlike sac keeps coming into these threads with incomprehensive and incoherent bullshit disguised as facts relevant to his argument. like at the very least format it properly and properly summarise whatever sources you're using. your rhetoric is fucking despicable to the point where it's impossible to decipher where you're going with your arguments; you're just pushing some right-wing position at whatever cost.

i mean i might just be a dumb kid but i mean if you're knowingly adressing clueless "18 year-old yankeedoodles" at least give them some shit that's relevant to what's being discussed.

it just boggles my mind how people with degrees in political science or american history or whatever can come in here and maintain a level of discussion appropriate for a gaming forum and yet you somehow can't adapt your rhetoric to the context. this leaves me convinced that you're deliberately using your rhetoric to further polarise the discussion or at best dilute it.

i'm not trying to argue against your right to partake in the discussion, i just don't buy that you're actually that bad at structure and formatting.

Also, not voting because you don't like the presidential candidates is retarded when there's still the choice of senators and representatives both in DC and in your state legislatures. You know, the people who actually make the laws.

Yeah^

You can abstain for the presidential vote, vote cross party, or vote 3rd party and still vote hard R or D on the rest of the ballot if you want. This is going to be a big election and even if I'd rather you don't do it, one of the best ways to prevent Hillary from having too much power if she wins is to show up and get as many Republicans as possible in the House and Senate. There's a lot more at stake this election than just the presidency. If you care about the SCOTUS appointments but dont want Trump, getting in Senators who will try to block Hillary's more liberal appointments is your best bet.
