spiceCSGO's mm server picker doesn't work. It blocks me from connecting to server but not from placing me there by the matchmaking system.

Yes, for this reason u can't block all servers. In my case, unblocked: Chile, Brazil, US SW, US SE and US West. Blocked: US East, UE West, UE East and Russia (Stockholm).

Also you will not be penalized for "abandon".

this brings me to a different (non-working) menu than clicking the button on the main menu does. I get a menu with a quickplay button and a weird mvm search screen thing

because is previous, but u can use "OpenMatchmakingLobby Ladder"

#7 VAC Error in Q/A Help
1- Go to your computer properties (there are many ways to do this, my favorite is Start+Pause on the keyboard. You can also right-click "Computer" and go to Properties).
2- Advanced System Properties.
3- For Performance, click Settings.
4- Click on "Data Execution Prevention" tab.
5- Turn on DEP, Apply, OK, OK, close the system properties Window.

This work for me ;)
