Putting a lot of hours into a hobby isn't that bad especially if you've been doing it since 2007. Not to mention thare are thousands of people with more hours than b4nny and not even close to as succesful as he has been

It's actually getting a lot better nowadays, although we're not getting direct communication and feedback with the developers, it's clear that they are working towards most of our interests.

They should be more transparent about stuff but they're probably well aware the people they tell will spread the message. If I were valve i wouldnt want to raise expectations by elaborating on promises themselves anyways

I would boil it down to b4nny and a select other few large community members can be trusted to give honest feedback to valve and valve can still change things without peeving off large chunks of the community

Valve hates making promises, and telling the community to "expect a big update" straight from the horses mouth is just bound to cause some level of disappointment when it isn't "EVERYTHING" people wanted. If b4nny says it though, then suddenly whatever we get is a pleasant surprise.

almost the entire production staff for tf.tv was in the dark until the email they just received, and they said it was an extremely late response anyways lol
