Because it's fun to get hype. And promoters, the people running the LAN, and people playing at the LAN have a lot more fun when everyone's getting hype. It's also a lot of fun to shout at the people you're playing video games with. We would have loved to have had you guys shouting back at us; it's always in good fun. But instead you guys just acted like assholes, talked shit about our group, and yelled at us to stfu. If you want dead silence while you're playing your video games just stay at home. There's a reason why a bunch of random ass people other than us were shouting "esports" by the end of the LAN.

GXL Titan was my very first LAN and to be honest I had no idea what to expect. I didn't sign up for team because I was so unsure of what it would be like. Arriving at the venue and watching all these great players that I've talked to online/watched on stream/scrimmed against was so fun! Although to be honest it was weird calling people by actual names rather than their steam name lol. Definitely responded to Mariposa more than my actual name :D It was definitely a great experience and commend everyone who was in charge of putting the LAN together, seems like it was rather arduous.

Sidenote: I wish there were more girls :< Coming from an all girls college, being surrounded by mostly guys was shocking at first haha!
