VisHow to search for mutual logs/map names though?

Example query, latest Se7en logs:
http://logs.tf/api/v1/log?player=76561197963314359,76561198064052251,76561198049174208&limit=10

Latest cp_cardinal logs:
http://logs.tf/api/v1/log?map=cp_cardinal&limit=10

API docs are also updated for new features. Next step would be to make everything accessible from the web GUI as well.

"Early access" of log filters is now available:

http://logs.tf/dev

Filter by title, map, gamemode or multiple players (for mutual logs) at the same time.

i recently bought a server and i installed logs on it and it changed the whitelist and now most hats are banned, is that intentional?

That's a whitelist problem, not logs.tf. If you look inside your whitelist it will have a whole list of items and you can see whether you have banned them or not.

@Syntax It is a TFTrue thing, not logs related, try tftrue_no_hats 0

I've tried 3 different logs.tf auto-uploaders including TFTrue and what TFTrue gives me is [TFTrue] The log might have not been uploaded. HTTP error 500 whenever it tries to upload a log. I assume I put in my apikey correctly and I have no clue what else I could do.

This week we had several issues with logs.tf not showing the correct logs:
http://logs.tf/2114086

After looking at the original log we thought this couldn't be right so I manually uploaded the log again. As you can see the score of the match isn't right: 0-1 > 1-2 > 1-3 > 3-3 (and the main score says 2-2)

The day after we played again, and it didn't upload 2 out of 3 logs. Uploading the logs through serveme (Reservation 827931) gave me a 'Parsing failed in line' error. I also downloaded the logs and uploaded it through logs.tf, and again it gave me a 'Parsing failed in line' error.

This happened few days ago, right? Found this from serveme.tf, it should be fixed:

"Thanks for reporting the problems with the logs, the BolusBrigade machine ran out of disk space, causing the errors. Fixed now."

Yes, Monday and Tuesday. It still gives me the error though, or does that mean these logs cannot be fixed anymore and it's fine from now on?

It should be fine now. Those logs are unfortunately unfixable because server didn't have enough space to actually save full logs files into a disk.

seems like lately logs in-game refresh themselves really aggressively. i always have to sort like four times before it finally listens to me.

I wrote something to automate averaging stats (DPM, etc) over several logs (https://github.com/TheAntecedent/Quintessence); if you just want to get a few logs' data individually, you can copy-paste the table to Excel or Sheets and it'll preserve formatting.

Judging by the log file, the server you were playing on is using an ancient plugin to add the damage statistics, it's still logging steam id's in the STEAM_0:1:234567 format instead of the current [U:1:234567] format that's been around since august 2014.

Something I would very much like to see is the ability to easily compare one's performance over time. Specifically I think a graph of values of a given type would be useful. For example, a medic might want to see if they're getting better at not dropping, a demo might want to see if their DPM is improving, etc. I think this would really help a lot of people new to competitive see how/where they can improve and know what mechanics to work on. Trying to find if anyone has similar ideas or would know how to code this, because I really want to try to make it happen even if logs.tf doesn't adopt it. Thanks

In theory, would it be possible to track healing from Engineer dispensers (if someone was to create a plugin)?

As far as I know it already tracks this, it's just not displayed. If you look at the JSON API it tracks heals (heal field).

Why not just post the issue here? The admins will see it, but there is also a chance someone who's ran into the same issue could offer you advice.

logs.tf currently treats pauses as normal gametime, so if there's a pause in a match eveyone's per-minute stats go down. Is there a way to not count time paused as gametime?
