I mentored that .exe team that went against Rondego's team. It's pretty disrespectful to call the other team trash and saying that they disbanded due to "salt". There were major roster issues happening already, with half the team wanting to play on different teams the weekend before the match. There's no need to call a team shit, especially if the other team didn't even care about your heavy in the first place. They all noticed how the heavy "got good" in one half, but that's it. Whether they won or not, I can guarantee you that the team would have disbanded either way.

podgy713Rondego uploaded a video with a camera on his mouse. If you guys still dont believe us, well then I'm not sure what will help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xEuGeBrDDeU

Nice video. He practiced it and was able to hit the sign labeled #2 on his first shot. His first shot was on target, and his 2nd shot was about 20 degrees off and his 3rd shot about 40 degrees off.

1) If a player is behind you and you are being attacked, why would you make the assumption that they are directly behind you (a perfect 180) when they could very well be flanking you at an offset of 180, such as 150 degrees.

2) Why would you feel confident enough to do the 180 spin to hit the scout behind you then do a 180 return spin to face your prior direction, when there is no way for your mind to process if you actually hit the scout in that 1/10th of a second timeline? I understand fast flicking and I used to do a fair amount of fast flicks on soldier when I was running 2.5" sense, but never would I return my fov to my original facing direction, I would look at my target to see if they are dead and continue firing if necessary.

3) We've had multiple people join the thread conversation to try to claim their innocence. So far quite honestly all of them were proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that they were cheating.

The first one -- carbon was actually VAC banned a week being exposed. Here is a quote:

Aki-ChanWhy am I defending him? Because I know for a fact he isn't hacking

And yes that was his friend defending him, who was either convinced he wasn't hacking, or was in on it and was trying to cover it up.

His tracking was decent but his flicks were insane. Either he's really good for Silver at one aspect of heavy while simultaneously being generally mediocre at it's main aspects (tracking and positioning) OR there's something fishy going on. Granted, high sens could lead to mediocre tracking while having the ability to spin extremely well. During the match, it was impossible to get near him in the 3rd half, he would instantly mow me down even if he wasn't looking at me at first, BUT I've seen other heavies in silver get ~400 dpm with less heals than him (i.e eerie person: http://logs.tf/582609?highlight=76561197978367445) ,so it's hard to say how I feel. Regardless, it's possibly worth looking into.

Podgy, if you think a team that had a total of four good players on it and a flank that had never played their classes before disbanded because you just beat us too badly, your ego is too large for mid-silver.

At first I thought, 'I wouldn't be surprised if he was cheating to be honest, but some people get so good at really dumb shit in this game. He could be like a 180-Direct Hit savant or something,' but shit like the airshot is just stupid.

I appreciate Podgy backing me up with this but he can be abrasive. I can speak for myself.

dollarlayer1) If a player is behind you and you are being attacked, why would you make the assumption that they are directly behind you (a perfect 180) when they could very well be flanking you at an offset of 180, such as 150 degrees.

I've been saying that it was a fun thing I wanted to try and it turned out to work pretty well when I did, but it's not nearly viable enough for an actual game. I like to think it's interesting to be able to flick like that, and that's it. My video was like a proof of concept - we were messing around on our own in a server and I wanted to see if I could flickshot him with a 180. It turned out I could (sometimes), and I made a video out of it because again, I thought it was interesting to be able to do that.

dollarlayer2) Why would you feel confident enough to do the 180 spin to hit the scout behind you then do a 180 return spin to face your prior direction, when there is no way for your mind to process if you actually hit the scout in that 1/10th of a second timeline? I don't really understand why people are looking into the reasoning for all this. Again, this was for fun, experimenting with a crazy tactic. There's absolutely no reason you'd do what I did in the video in an actual game because that would be stupid and ineffective.

dollarlayer3) We've had multiple people join the tread conversation to try to claim their innocence. So far quite honestly all of them were proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that they were cheating.

Can I just ask what people think I'm actually doing so that I can show that I'm not? Unless I missed something, all I've seen is that I'm "hacking" or that I'm "fishy," and that my logs during a match were "suspicious," but do people think I'm using aimbot? Some other cheat? I'd assume it's aimbot because we've just been talking about flicking, so I've shown how I was able to flick just with high sensitivity. If there's something else, I'd like to know what it is.

honestly I think the only suss part of the video was the airshot. flicking to something and immediately back to where you were aiming is pretty normal, and the scout was running in a straight line so it wouldn't be too difficult to judge his position based on damage indicators.

Like yeah, it's weird, and there are a few pieces of evidence that point to cheating (variance between logs etc.) but not nearly enough to conclusively call cheats on

Rondego is either blatantly cheating or the best heavy that has ever played TF2. The toggle is so fucking obvious, you're absolutely retarded if you thought posting your pov was a good idea on your youtube channel. When you need to kill something, you DON'T miss. That doesn't happen, if you're ever played heavy before. Tracking someone mid range, you hit every single bullet. That's physically impossible unless you use nospread hacks. In one of the enemy's teams pushing into 2nd, you track 5-6 ubered targets PERFECTLY into the middle of their body and doesn't miss a bullet. Like holy shit you are dense if you still want to defend yourself.

There's nothing someone needs help posting that they can't post themselves. I understand trying to vouch for someone, but anything more than that isn't really needed at all.

The only reason I'm vouching for him is because he's my friend and my teammate. I'm the leader of the team, so it's kind of my responsibility as well with all this. The hackusation doesn't only go to Rondego, but to the entire team.

What bothers me the most is that Rondego is giving you guys everything you guys want. Demos, justifications, but at this point, you guys just want to see him fail, no matter how much evidence there is disproving the hackusation. And then Etney comes along and thinks he's this high and mighty plat player who doesn't know what a fucking nospread hack looks like on a heavy (like honestly, have you SEEN nospread on heavy? It doesn't seem like you have.)

He wasn't called, but that was really funny at the time because I knew that spies sometimes liked to hang out there on offense so I began regularly spychecking that left side while holding stairs, and during that game I just caught him outright. You've had lucky plays too, I'm sure.

Yes I have, you clearly haven't. His aim really isn't that great and you can see it through the demo. Then he toggles on and doesn't miss for a few seconds, then turns it back off. Every person in the knd mumble who watched this was convinced he was hacking including 2 top plat heavy mains. He tries very hard to make sure it's not super obvious, but it still is.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCfw52dzKbE

Now this is kind of unrelated to the video itself, but I've seen instances of people who cheat post some fishy frags to youtube in order to:

1) Try and convince people they're not cheating by showcasing the more fishy frags as happy accidents.

2) Stroke their own e-peens, most of the time by putting in the description that they're really fucking good at the game.

This kind of has both because he's stroking himself by saying that he has 'game-sensed' the enemy spy.

This isn't really a guaranteed method of spotting cheaters, but if someone cheats they're probably going to do that.

Take FODDER for instance. Dude has been through dozens of accounts because of how many times he's been banned for cheating, and even got Overwatch banned on stream, and still swears up and down that he's legit and just really really good. He's posted a bunch of videos that fit the description and strokes himself off in all of them.

This doesn't prove that the dude is cheating or anything, but it kinda follows suit with what I said, (what with the muscle memory and game sense,) and makes me not like him very much at the least..

AvastFor someone who has played only Steel HL on a 2.5 inch per 360 your tracking is invite caliber at times.............

I can say that after playing heavy in UGC for almost the past year and a half, my tracking has gotten pretty good. Unless I were to go through play-by-play and talk about every time I killed someone in that match, for right now I just know that steel and silver players are usually fairly predictable. Some more than others of course.

And just to clarify, yes, I've given out as many demos and POVs as I could and explained how I do things like flicking. I know that's not always enough, and I'm saying that I can replicate all of that because that's actually how I play and that's actually my skill level. If there's any way that I can record myself actually doing what I'm doing, I'll do it. Hell I'd even do my best to record a lobby with my mouse, keyboard, and monitor in the shot if that'd help. Please, please, call my bluff if you think I'm bullshitting. If there's any feasible way for me to prove I'm just playing TF2, tell me.
For someone who has played only Steel HL on a 2.5 inch per 360 your tracking is invite caliber at times.............

I could tell where the engy was there because you can see the tracers from his shotgun. It's not hard to spot.

Avast42:46 to 52:58

I went back to watch this and I saw my spy kill at 42:52, and yeah, I can definitely see why you'd think that's an aimbot. I'd say that I was just able to track him, because I was, but I know I can't actually prove that, so I'll leave it for what it's worth.

Avast48:12 to 48:18

That tracking was good too, but you can tell it's not perfect, especially if you watch it slowed down. If that was janky because I knew it was a spy, you can tell because he was a scout and you can tell because of his movement speed.

It's 2AM here so I need to get to sleep. If I can do anything else, you know where to find me.

I don't think it was just the tracking of the spy, I think it was the obscene amount of damage you did to drop the medic right there.

You hit the pyro for like 14, then 26... and then the medic came in and suddenly you hit him for 70, and then when he came back in you hit like 26 then 44. You weren't that close to him, and you were shooting through a gap.
