My pug team is paid up. We did two scrims tonight and it was incredibly fun despite making (sometimes) obvious mistakes and losing 0-5 the second scrim.

Seriously, fellow veterans of open, make pug teams, have fun. You won't be disappointed, win or lose. I'm so glad I decided to do this.

Main - 7/14 paid at present
Intermediate - 6/16 paid at present
Open - 14/30 paid at present

based off of those i think esea would even go all the way back to 2 divs; open and invite
maybe even cut all but open like they did with 1.6

There's 20 paid in open right now with quite a few partially paid teams with 6. Dunno if we can get 30 but it'll be close. IM and main might be merged possibly?

The greater the skill disparity within a division, the less chance there is that the lowest teams in that division will stick around for another season. A 2 div league would essentially kill the whole thing; that's why Shooter/Killing are adamant on keeping the current 4 divs. If they're smart they'll sit a season out until the CEVO craze dies down and the demand for ESEA returns. The problem then becomes integrating all the teams back into their respective skill divisions which might become burdensome so they might just opt not to bring it back rather than having to deal with it.

After looking at the IM rosters, I have a feeling we're looking at 10-12 IM teams this season. Does that mean we're going to see only 4 playoff teams this season?

Logic would dictate that if there aren't enough Main/IM teams ready to go, you'd combine the two divisions like we used too. Then once the CEVO wave blows over and more people come to their senses we can go back to 4 divisions. Don't worry this season looks very promising and will happen! #believe
