Pyro still has trashcan range, especially with flaregun (no splash to compensate for projectiles). He's barely viable with the powerjack speed buff, and even then I'd rather go shotgun and use him like a high-hp scout. Degreaser and Flare are both legal in NA and haven't nearly made him any more viable.

I think it's a lot like with the PC versions, they're trying to perfect it on current gen before focusing on moving it to other platforms. Besides, next gen isn't out for another 2 months. I wouldn't be too surprised if PC and next gen ports are announced simultaneously.
I'm be getting it on Xbox Monday night, but yeah, I'll probably get it again when the PC port is released. The PC versions are just too much fun.
As of yesterday, it's been announced that the map is 49 square miles in size, which is huge compared to San Andreas (19 square miles IIRC) and RDR (about 28 by estimates). Don't forget that it includes the countryside along with Los Santos.

I get where everyone's coming from about doing it off-client, and I agree that that's how it should have been handled. However, I can also understand ESEA's position - another TF2 final had to be played off-client already, and having 2 finals in as many weeks not be played on ESEA's terms makes them look pretty bad. God forbid someone should think that ESEA has bad servers and DDOS mitigation!

paulWould it work if the attacking team had an extra player who only pushes the cart, but can't shoot anyone? Obviously he dies when his team gets wiped. He can be called the team mascot.
The entire point of the cart is sacrificing offense to push it, adding a 7th player would completely defeat the purpose of that.
Plus, like Lucky Shot said, who the hell wants to do nothing but sit on the cart?

brownymasterPro-strat: Ban quick fix, medigun, vaccinator, kritzkrieg, and amputator. Meds can only heal with the the crossbow. 9v9 with no heals aside from engy.
edit because I skimmed over the HL part. Didn't expect it to just flat out describe HL instead of saying HL.
Also, you could ban every medic primary too, forcing the med to be melee only.
EDIT2: Actually it might be cooler to allow only the Amputator and ban the crossbow + mediguns, since the medic becomes a sitting duck whenever you want to heal.
