I've literally played one match against people but I'm up
mckaponvi hope your entire family dies in a car accident and i'm the one driving the carlast time i said something along those lines mana said he'd ban me if i did it again
probs bad idea
no you told a 13 year old to kill himself
theres a pretty big difference
Tbh telling someone to kill themselves at all is pretty disgusting
WhoaDerehl3 confirmed.
This actually has some weight apparently; remember that "unrelated" Surgeon Simulator ARG a while back? Apparently it hinted at the 27th which if this aligns right could be one of the three announcement dates.
If you can't play it with friends don't
Even when you do play it with friends a lot of times you end up making a big group of em and following around other groups and just mobbing half-abandoned installations
In its defense I once saw my brother defend a biolab for so long that when he went to bed after several hours of defense it was cut off from the rest of the vanu and when he came back they still had it and were still cut off, so you can get some pretty intense battles on occasion
Try to keep bashing to a minimum; I know a lot of people have animosity to MOBAs but he's asking a legitimate question.
Personally, I think Enigma hit it on the head. While F2P probably played a part, the major thing that's more unique about it (and other MOBAs like Dota) is that the competitve side plays just like the casual side - same modes, same builds, more or less same group tactics if you have a good team. It makes you feel "just like the pros", and that's a huge draw. Read the comments on the free hero rotation page and usually the top comment is someone lamenting the high-risk, high-reward competitive-popular hero all the noobs are going to be playing. A lot of other "eSport" games are like that. Starcraft is like that - pro strats work in any kind of multiplayer match. The major fighting games like Street Fighter and Mahvel are like that - It's still the same game, and a lot of casual players try their luck at tournaments large and small. TF2 is not like that, and IMO that's one reason why the competitve scene is so small.
It doesn't hurt that Riot is pouring money into League invitationals and tournaments and heavily promoting it constantly. If I remember right they're actually losing money even though they have the most popular game on the face of the Earth. While it probably won't get abandoned by them for a long, long time, I'm pretty sure that the day Riot stops putting money into tourneys is the same day the game begins to die.

Like Benk said only take em if you actually want em pls, they're all really good tho
Time to go wait in line lets do this yeeeeeeaaaaah
There's 25 total teams paid up over 4 divisions, lol sure
EDIT: used wrong number whoops
My net is slow enough that this'll probably download until about 11 tonight, and by that time I'll be at gamestop waiting for GTA5
Why do you do this to me
Handcuffeddidn't they announce a "fix" for the crossbow healing soldiers with the equalizer a while back?
Yeah; it didn't work.
Like there wasn't even a trick to getting around it; literally nothing changed.
An update to Team Fortress 2 has been released. The update will be applied automatically when you restart Team Fortress 2. The major changes include:
Fixed a noclip exploit related to dueling and coaching
Fixed clients not being able to run on WindowsXP
Fixed The Filamental displaying the burning material in DirectX8
Fixed an exploit that allowed Strange counters to be incremented negatively
Fixed The Crusader's Crossbow healing teammates with The Equalizer or The Escape Plan deployed
Fixed The Expert's Ordnance, The Hibernating Bear, and The Medieval Medic item sets not listing their associated hats
Updated The Sticky Jumper to only allow 2 active stickybombs at a time
Updated The Rump-o'-Lantern
Fixed stock Medic not being able to equip it
Fixed not using the correct materials when equipped by the Medic
surprisingly some people are willing to put into prize pots even though they probably won't win any of it
the fact that esea even has one is definitely the defining difference between etf2l and esea, because there is some kind of reward to it
if you don't want to pay for your hobby that's fine by me but you sound like an underinformed child who refuses to listen to the other side's arguments
I'm the primary backup for my team and I paid just so we could at least be ready
So when's the extension coming
Yeah personally 2 bucks per isn't a huge deal for me, but someone pointed it out and I figured I could at least say he's not wrong.
