It's not that people can't read, you said the same thing three times. I think you got your message across. This is a competitive TF2 forum; 98% of us don't really care about your FF2 boss. Not to mention you took ELEVEN minutes before supposedly giving up, even on a more applicable forum you'd probably have to wait longer than that.

KanecoTwilitlordThe thing is ESEA gets way, way more revenue from CS than from TF2. If we boycott them, they'll probably just drop us. It's pretty obvious from the last week or two that we're just an afterthought to upper management. Boycotts would just make it worse. So you're telling me we're like the BIG ESEA's secret girlfriend and we can't tell no one about that or else we'll be dumped and shamed? I don't know how I should feel about this relationship
It's not really that we're a secret, ESEA is in fact the only way we as a community really get exposure anymore. It's just that they're making it increasingly obvious that they are purely a business with no interest in the players and only in it for the money. And if they get a massive majority of their income from CS with a negligible segment of it in TF2, what's the point of keeping it? It's not about shaming us, it costs money to keep servers up and to pay admins and to make the client compatible, and right now money is obviously the bottom line instead of customer satisfaction.
I checked on the site, and in NA, there's 304 CS:GO teams registered this season (9 invite, 30 main, 39 IM, 226 open). You could also add the 22 1.6 teams, I guess. Meanwhile, there's 85 TF2 teams right now (9 invite, 10 main, 16 IM, and 50 open). That's not even going into Europe, where we have IIRC 20-some TF2 teams and a full complement of CS teams probably equal or close to the total for NA. Honestly, if most of us left, it would be easier for ESEA to shut down their TF2 league, or at best reduce it to just Open, and make up the lost income by shutting down TF2 servers and getting rid of Kiling/Kalkin. They have a lot more money going into CS, and tens of thousands of people watching Invite CS on their channels regularly. And what do we have to go to in NA? Sure, you have ETF2L over there which is stronger than ESEA ATM, but over here, we have one scrub league and one underdeveloped league which doesn't currently have the divisions or resources necessary to support a leading TF2 client-based league. And let's not even go into our constant desire for a LAN.
As someone who lived in Senegal for 6 years I can confirm that your message is completely legit

Besides, as much as people talk about CEVO no one seems in a hurry to register on there. You have to have more than a handful of people joining to make it a decent alternative and right now that's not happening.
I'm losing a lot of respect right here because
1) The use of the word "cunt" in the first place
2) Using it to defend a fucking hacker
Seriously if he'd been legit big deal we disprove it MrPerfect is embarrassed and apologizes and we go on with our lives
Instead you have to call him a cunt for not immediately catering your desire for proof even though he did within a couple hours
I'm not saying he handled it totally right
But that's a really fucking strong word to use for not being able to give you instant gratification
(if you aren't Australian)
EDIT used to be a steam chatlog with the use of that word against MrPerfect above my post but it's gone now, I'm not going to elaborate

breloomno one knew the client was going to crash tf2 until sunday because no one uses the fucking thing for tf2 outside of matches anyways
Kalkin told everyone at the captain's meeting to check that their premium works ahead of time.
I can't even see if it kicks me cause the damn thing crashes before I can even exit the MOTD.
TerywjClient still isn't fixed, by the way.
Will it get fixed tonight? And can we get an honest answer?
I know it's not Killing and Kalkin's fault, but there is a lot to be angry about here. The level of transparency is abysmal, especially after their community discovered the bitcoin miner hiding in the code on their own (note that I'm over them doing that, but simply using it as a milestone for lack of honesty and transparency in the organization). The way it is now, it seems like there is a severe lack of interdepartmental communication. I mean, we're all a bunch of nerds who play videogames all day - do the people in charge of the client think we won't understand any degree of their problem? At least tell us that something is wrong with it, and you don't know what, or if you do know, tell us a real deadline. I'd rather be told "I'm not in the loop about progress; I really don't know when it will be fixed" than "It'll be fixed tomorrow" day after day.
SerotoneAll of us are crashing upon joining the server, 5 mins to match time. We would have rolled them anyway.
You're just gonna have to reschedule
im here for the downfrags
Please say we'll have a fix by 9 I really can't reschedule
ThomasduhtrainI've been to a few melee events and shit, it's cool but it doesn't seem to be that active in the midwest, is there shit that goes on in the midwest anymore(is FC in indiana still around even?)
Man I wish we had anything in the Midwest, I've been trying to find a Street Fighter or Melee weekly in KC for awhile now and there's nothing. Closest thing I've found is casual matches at my community college during lunchtime but they only play Brawl for Smash and you can't bring your own stick for conventional fighters. I think most of the fighting community in the Midwest is concentrated in Chicago or something.
dyztrogSame as any other hud.
That does not help at all.
But there's also like 20+ explanations of how to do it on this forum alone. Just need to use the search function.
