my game has been crashing recently whenever i try to join a game. ive tried uninstalling the game, resetting the cfg folder to normal. verifying integrity, any common trick to try and fix this bug. would there be any fix to this? thanks

uh. then another thing i would probably try is something like disabling steam cloud sync, or maybe verifying the steam cache instead of verifying tf2's game files, but other than that im like out of ideas

disable steam cloud sync
delete your cfg and custom folder
validate files
-default in launch options
start game
host_writeconfig in console
close game
delete launch options
