Am looking to buy a decent, not too expensive smartphone. I'm mainly looking for something with very good front and back cameras, lots of internal storage and runs very well. No iPhones pls :)

A friend is offering to sell me his used Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge for 200 euro. It has a bit of a crack in it's top right corner but works perfectly, and the photos he's taken with it look lovely. Should I go for that or something else?

Google Pixel is worth a look. Otherwise, if you like the Samsung android, then that should work for you. Just really think carefully about how you use your phone, then look at it and decide if it's practical for your needs as a smartphone user.

I got a oneplus 5 on launch day & can recommend
If you are looking for a cheaper phone the Moto G5 is a good choice as long as you don't need NFC

got a galaxy j7 about a month ago, it's pretty affordable and i haven't had any problems with it in the month i've had it. it's great after using a windows phone for 2 years. can't really say much about the camera quality because i'm not too picky insofar as that goes, but it's not bad!

I recently needed a new upgrade. Having no money, I took a shot in the dark and bought a Huawei P9 lite. I couldn't be happier with the result. It's literally the best deal you can get for a good quality smartphone right now, definitely check it out!

Seconding this. It's good hardware for a cheap price, plus if you root and install a custom firmware on it, it runs insanely smooth.

Gone through a large majority of Xperia's for work.

T, SP, M2, M4, M5, Z3 Compact, Z5, Z5 Compact, X, X Compact, XA, XA1.

Low end used to be shit but Sony Mobile trimmed down their line as half the models didnt make any money.

XA and XA1 are now decent mid range phones, XA goes for £150 and XA1 for £200

XZ/XZs/XZ Premium are all really nice to use, but a little pricey.

Still using my Z3C as my personal phone.

Chinese smartphones are not too expensive and can still compete with some of the priciest smartphones around. Got myself a Xiaomi Mi5 in january for $220 and it's a great smartphone, very fluid and comfortable to use. Only downside is that since I bought it on a chinese website (GearBest), I received it with a chinese ROM already pre-installed and had to unlock it to install an international ROM so that I could receive weekly updates. It's not very difficult though, it only took a few days, and I'm very satisfied with it.

Huawei and Honor smartphones are also pretty good, technically Honor is just a sub-brand of Huawei but whatever.
