I need some help about the performance of tf2.... In using as FPS config the Comaglia maxframes, but still its not enough. In pubs i get around 15-20 FPS even on community server with 6-8 people per server i get 30-40 FPS...but with a lot of FPS lag spikes....i want just the most sh*ittiest graphic in tf2 and the most performance.... I have a very old pc: its a pachard Bell with a Intel Pentium 4,nVidia GE FORCE 9500 GT and 2 GB of RAM. So how i Can get the most FPS in TF2

i mean you can polish a shit but it's still a shit

you should follow comanglia's max fps guide, mainly setting your pc to high performance mode and installing the no hats mod. you should try the max stability/toaster cfg too, see if it helps

Walk the streets looking down until u find a penny. This will get you a better graphics card that will improve ur tf2 performance.

the toaster config is designed for 2 pieces of bread at once, not just one, which your pc is capable of :/

Sorry, but it's not happening. No magic is going to make that pc run TF2 well.

I have a 3-step process that I did to make TF2 run better? Ready? ok:

1. Look for help wanted ads, web sites, or get your friends (loljk) to refer you to what we call in the industry as a "job". this "job" is essential because it gives you something named "money"
2. most places let you exchange this "money" for items. it's called a store. there's bound to be one for computers.
3. exchange (abbrev. as "buy") a computer.

Ditto what sentinel said, put (-w 640 -h 480) in your launch options, I assume you are on dx level 80 already right?
You can make the resolution lower even but most of the ui is unusable at that point.
That will probably help a good bit.

What's your point?
If you want to play TF2 without any updates a Pentium 4 would get you 60fps.
If you think TF2 without updates is terrible or 60fps are not really smooth in TF2 then you have a problem.

Those 30% are not that big of a deal.
Also Hyperthreading on Pentium 4 lul.

I'm pretty sure 2007 TF2 gets more fps than 2017 TF2. No bs items.
