I mostly play roamer and was wondering what your guy's thoughts were on mwheel jumping. When I rj I use space but I like to use it when I'm going from place to place almost like bhopping, is this a bad habit? What do you guys think: Keep it simple with space, or use mwheel for consecutive jumps?

i use both just the same as you, space for rj and mwheel for bhopping/normal jumping. theres nothing wrong with it unless somehow its negatively affecting your gameplay (which i dont see how it would.)

yeah do what froot does and have gay anime porn on your main monitor and play tf2 with 1 hand and hold ur dick in the other

on a more serious note: imo mouse2 +duck and space +jump is the easiest for ctaps and i prefer to have mwheelup to slot1 and mwheeldown to slot2 but u do u my friend

Nothing wrong with using both.
Personally I wouldn't do it because I don't like changing the grip on my mouse all the time to keep my aim consistent.
Also makes it impossible to jump and shoot at the same time if you use m1 to shoot (unless you use space of course, but might be hard to switch fluently if you're used to using mwheel during fights).
But that's just me and if it doesn't bother you then just keep doing it like that.

im used to jump on mousewheel from cs and from speedrunning hl1/2 where it's almost required. no downside and i usually use space anyway unless im trying to bhop

personally i find it best to use mouse1 for jump, numpad 6 for firing, and left foot green for crouch.

tf2 doesn't spam +jump like in other games. If you keep scrolling it'll only jump once so it doesnt really help unless you're used to it already. I personally have m2 space and mwheeldown all bound to jump haha. doesnt hurt to have multiple jump keys

wrong, if you're scrolling when you land you jump which doesnt happen when you hold space, just like other source games. the game spams a +jump every time your mousewheel clicks

Thanks for the responses, I'll try out just using space for a bit and see how it feels.
