Psychology questionnaire - once again...

Once again, for the last time, I'm in need for tf.tv to help me with some psychology questionnaire i have to do for college.
Consists of 13 questions and ask you to rate pain on a scale of 1-10, its pretty self explanatory.
Would be a big help if you could fill it out, should take less then a few minutes since its just a checklist.
(especially in need of females to fill this out since the majority of tf.tv is male)
Thanks <3

done

i think you should clarify the upper ending of the scale instead of just "a lot of pain" or is that the point of the questionnaire

It is not, I see what you're saying. I would like to change it but afraid if I do I might lose the responses...

That's double safety and completely unnecessary, your right. We have to perform some sort of study and present it to the class, a professor and two PhD students. Thats just me preemptively striking them saying "this is unethical etc..".

i don't get it. what's the point of this? What if you're someone who's never experienced 90% of these accidents? how does that information help

It gives info on how you perceive other people's injuries.

The point is not experience of each one. Primary aim is to see differences in pain perception by each gender. The experience question is there to see if there will be a difference in pain perception from those who have experienced a situation or not. i.e if someone has experienced a broken collar bone will they rate the pain higher or lower than someone who has not experienced a broken collar bone.

Oh sorry I didn't see the end of the questionnaire. Okay so there are two cases where you can extract valuable information then? A: person experienced the incident and indicated what kind of pain they thought it was (useful for reflecting on pain reception of each gender) B: person didn't experience the incident but indicated the pain (useful for reflecting on empathy to pain for each gender?) Makes sense.

just a nitpick, but the sauce pan question could probably be more clear

only thing i'd be feeling is mad if a pot of unheated pasta sauce dumped out onto my foot, but sauce that has been cooked will hurt like hell

That is true... I'm hoping the fact it was on a counter has put the thought into peoples minds that it was unused.

This has all happened to me, (except for collarbone, broke a rib instead) and the migraine is by far the 10. Bike road rash on your face close second.

Migraines are the only pain I get where I can't help vomiting it hurts so bad.

Thanks for all those who filled it in, got 257 in total which is nuts. If anyones interested the aim was to investigate gender differences in pain perception.
At higher levels of severity (broken bones, blood) there was no significant difference from male to female, although it was slightly towards males rating lower pain levels. At medium levels and lower levels of severity females significantly rated pain higher than males.
Conduction of Mann Whitney U-Tests showed three significant differences in three of the eight scenarios and overall there was a significant difference.
Tests:
E:
The p-value is .006045. The result is significant at p < .05.
F:
The p-value is .000191. The result is significant at p < .05.
G:
The p-value is .000068. The result is significant at p < .05.
When all averaged per:
The p-value is .006074. The result is significant at p < .05.

Thanks once again :)
