Had a 60 hour medic throw my last game by "getting stabbed by invisible spy" around 15 times. We dragged it to golden cap once he disconnected then lost the golden cap to 4 scouts a demo and a medic because class limits dont work.

Worse than tf2center

Which probably cost me my BMOC as i was in 3rd place before that game

please add some kind of hour miniumum or a rule that you have to understand how all 9 classes work before playing.

Also fix the class limits

I'm pretty sure class limits don't work in like any servers. Didn't saams team run like 4 heavies in the last game against froyo lol

There is a 50 hour limit

that limit needs to be raised to at least 300 its actually impossible to have a balanced game when u have 50 hour new players playing and they have no clue what to do

this happens more than oftenly actually

like right now winning a faceit match is dependent on how many pubbers u have and how good they are

more pubbers = less chance of winning at least imo rn. and being only able to solo/duo queue really doesnt help me with trying to avoid getting the same teams bc i got the exact same player 5 times in a row. he never communicated, never did anything, he literally went afk half the match.

Maybe the pubbers are playing FACEIT and trying to learn competitive and get better at it...?

The idea is that new players come into FACEIT and learn about the 6's format, grow interest in it, and join the competitive community after this whole baby stage of coming from pubs. Think of it like a competitive matchmaking if it was made by competent developers instead of a water cooler full of big pink cookies. Of course this has the caveat of bad players coming into the system and not knowing what they doing and some of them just completely being shit or stubborn. It's a roll of the die and a lot of it has to do with the high bar of entry for competitive TF2 compared to competitive CS:GO.

If you don't want to play with scrubs that are just playing their placement matches, that's the point of placement matches and the benefit of the premium leagues. If you purchase premium/supporter, you can queue in the premium leagues so you only queue up with and against people in that league. The problem with that is you have to get into that league from winning and you also have to purchase premium or supporter, though they're pretty cheap they're still fees.

FACEIT right now may seem like a bit of a cesspool like TF2C is, but the idea of supporting it now is that it will help TF2 in the long run. FACEIT is actually genuinely interested in supporting TF2 so we should be supporting back by using their website. Yes, FACEIT does have some genuine problems with their system and they've been looking into fixing their site and systems to appease players, but if you're going to shit on every company that tries to invest into TF2 because they're not as perfect as competitive circlejerks with high restrictions and incredibly competent players, then competitive TF2 is going to remain stagnant like it's been for the past 9 years.

I played around 10 games yesterday and not all of them were bad but i picked one that represented the worst experience that i had. That was the only game that had people abusing class limits but almost every game had one player who was very new, which is fine most of the time but once they are on medic and dont get off they are a detriment to your team.

I know the normal excuse is that faceit tf2 is too small for an effective elo system to be in place but last night was supposed to be a popular night yet this issue still persisted. Faceit just isnt worth my time when i could be playing on other services that i have a better experience on, tf2c, pugchamp, pickup when it was alive. If faceit is the future and all other pug sites should close as it is so amazing the future of tf2 is bleak.

The reason why the issue is still persisted is because they have increased the elo variance allowed for MM compared to other popular games like csgo this is to decrease the que time by a lot and actually allow games to happen when its not as popular as yesterday. In games like csgo the elo variance is low that you will never get put against a new player if you have the right amount of elo. If we get more games happening a lot more frequently like yesterday they will definitely decrease the elo variance which although will increase the que times it will definitely make games more balanced.
