Halo 3 was my favorite by far. Bought it when it first came out and played the hell out of it for 3+ years (and still went back to it from time to time after Reach came out). Ranked matchmaking was so fun. Still vividly remember the game that I got my first 50 on.

Reach was where the game started going downhill imo with all the stuff like armor lock and jetpack. It was still a pretty fun game, but it did not feel like Halo at all.

Halo 2 multiplayer is alive again after Games For Windows Live was discontinued, since a group of fans made a client for ingame. I have a download (iso) of the game if anyone wants to kick it oldschool on H2.

ODST is my favorite. I loved wandering around the city at night with the calm music playing in the background while searching for the audio logs and fighting the group of enemies now and then, or trying to sneak around them.

Atmospheric as fuck.

Halo Reach
Halo Wars
ODST is my personal favourite because of how amazing the game was as a whole. Seeing Halo through the eyes of a Human Soldier in the game compared to always being a heroic spartan in the other Halo Games,
Halo Reach is also up there with Halo 3: ODST because of how much time I put into the game unlocking that Wrist Tactical/Tacpad Armour for my Spartan which my favourite armour piece in Halo.

I remember getting an Xbox just for Halo after playing it at a friends house. The fact that back in Halo 2, if you had a picture as your rank you were cheater that bridged hosts and standby'd. All those nights staying up playing FFA on Midship. In Halo 3 I solo queued my way up to a 47 in Team Slayer and pounded Doubles to the same rank with a friend.

I also really wish Bungie had total playtime on your service record, really curious as to what it was.

With that Halo Online League, anyone know why its 3v3 and not 4v4?
